that would have been quite interesting to see happen. im not sure xander & anya would have taken the fight over to LA, but i could see willow & tara making the move. they're both very powerful witches (and of course nothing would have separated them) and could have been very useful to the AI team. also i could have pictured giles going to help as well (being the senior watcher that he is) except would he have? or would he have been too overcome with grief from buffy's death that he wanted to go back to england and get away from it all? hmmm... also, you think spike would have continued the fight over there? probably not since he's not too keen on angel. he might have stayed behind in sunnydale to help keep the demon population down there. it's tough to imagine where dawn would have ended up though if the gang split up, some heading off to LA. with joyce & buffy gone, she would have gone to her dad or possibly foster care. or giles? that would've been better... lots of possibilities if buffy died.
