What if Connor had second thoughts about dropping his father in a metal container to the bottom of the ocean?

What if he had believed him instead, locked Justine in the metal container after learning the truth about her role in Holtz's death, and dropped her into the ocean?

How Connor would have changed from that point on along with everything else in the show from the end of Season 3 on?

It's an interesting concept. I just don't see it happening. Connor was very anti-Angel and when he had his mind set, nothing seemed to change his mind throughout the series. Connor had an odd personality.

I know. It's just I hated how Connor was in Season 4 with his irrational hatred for his father and blaming him for everything that goes wrong in his life. It was annoying and getting old real fast.

I agree, Connor's hatred for Angel got old fast. It would have been interesting for Connor to have had a moment of doubt about Angel and not push him into the sea; or at least give Fred and Gunn some sort of clue about where he was. I suppose since Connor spent 16 (?) years with Holtz being told how horrible/evil Angel was its understandable that he wouldn't think twice about what he did to Angel.

IMO if Connor had not pushed Angel into the sea or helped rescue him it would have drastically changed his character. If he had felt bad about Angel or started to trust and care for him would Connor have gone down the same road with Cordy? Would Jasmin have entered into the picture at all?

Its an interesting thought...I wonder what would have happened.

I would have loved to see more of that father/son dynamic. To think how much Angel loved him as a baby, and then to watch that lil s#$t totally mess it all up...

I can agree that the hatred got tired and old really fast, but "irrational" hardly... considering his up-bringing, Holtz death, his alienation from the world in general... irrational is the last thing I would call it.


As for the alternative idea it's nice from a Connor/Angel getting a long point of view but as for the meaning for season 4 I feel like Connor believing Angel and sinking Justine instead would have robbed season 4 of more or less... everything. So I can't really picture it... nor do I want it, even if I love Connor and want him to get on with his dad I just love the ending of season 3 so much, it's so full of tragedy that it never ceases to move and horrify me. 🙂
