If Dawn Had Died...

After they put Buffy in the slayer line again
would that have taken Buffy out of the line and
have a new slayer called cause they do have the same blood
so if one dies and closes a portal why not die and call a slayer.

I kinda think it does but IDK.

My immediate reaction is no. But then I think of Fray, where the twin thing seriously messed up the Slayer line. So...maybe. But I still think not - Dawn has never exhibited any trace of slayer-ness. Plus, the Slayer aspect is entirely mystical - people aren't, then they are, but their physical nature doesn't change.

I don't think Dawn's death would have effected the Slayer line at all. She wasn't a Slayer or Potential, so why would it??

Yeah, I'm not sure I understand your question. Dawn has nothing to do with the Slayer line. A
re you asking what would have happened if Buffy had not died, and Dawn had died instead? Nothing actually. When Buff jumped off that cliff, the reason why another Slayer wasn't called was because the line and already went to Faith. So, at that point, when Buffy is dead, Faith is the active Slayer.

I wouldn't have needed to drink as much while watching seasons 6 and 7...

6 and 7 weren't that bad but I wasn't happy they killed Buffy off again. I was glad she was brought despite the way it was done.
