If it was Tara in disguise from the First Evil, would Willow kill herself?

When Cassie/The First Evil was trying to seduce Willow in suicide, Willow didn't. But if it was Tara/The First Evil would Willow had killed herself?

I know this is a disturbing thread but a friend of mine (who's also a Buffy fan) was just discussing this on facebook today
 
Absolutely No, unless she had a temporary brain dysfunction, as we all know, as would Willow, that Tara would never ask Willow to do something so self destructive, and Willow would have seen through that just like she saw through Cassandra's ruse. Although, the scene would have been heartbreaking, especially with AH acting it, it kind of makes me glad that Amber Benson refused to return as the first.
 
No. I can't imagine a scenario in which Willow doesn't realize that she's being manipulated. Besides, Willow is too strong to kill herself. Like, it's not even an option. Screw The First, a real, genuine Tara shows up and tells her that she's going to kill everybody? Willow's still not killing herself. Even if she's 100% convinced that it's true, she's not killing herself, period. Willow's not Angel, guilt tripping her is not going to work.

Eh. The First isn't very bright, is it?
 
I agree with these guys. It was the moment that Cassie told her 'Tara's' message that Willow realized she was being played. There's no way someone like Tara would try to get anyone, let alone the love of her life, to commit suicide, even if it would supposedly save the world. Tara was the kind of person who looked for other options that didn't involve risking anyone's life or causing anyone any permanent harm.

Um...did we watch the same show? S6's climax features Willow trying to kill herself, and a whole bunch of other people as well. Willow is a very popular character on here, I get that, and I'm not even saying The First as Tara would have been able to sway her in that direction, but let's be real, Willow doesn't exactly have an iron will when it comes to stress.

Nonsense. She only wants to destroy the world and kill everybody because their suffering annoys her. There's nothing that suggests suicide.

The apocalypse is not about Tara's death and it is not about Willow's personal pain either. It happens because of Giles' infinite idiocy. There was a prophecy and you know how prophecies work, right? Without Buffy in Master's cavern, there's no apocalypse - he can't get out, not enough power. Without Giles in Sunnydale there's no apocalypse as well, because again, Willow doesn't have enough power on her own nor an intention to destroy the world, she just wants to murder The Trio. Giles' borrowed and then drained power essentially connects her to everything allowing her to experience the pain of the entire humanity. Willow can't take it but she doesn't want to kill herself to make the pain stop, instead she wants to kill everybody else to make it stop, OK? She'd rather end the world than end herself. She's kinda like Ben with a healthy dose of Glory.

Yeah, Ben is Glory is Willow.

I know, the dialog is of questionable quality and this whole thing is obviously convoluted but come on, it's not Angel is Twilight convoluted. Eh, people really don't get Willow. She is a monster and monsters don't kill themselves.
