I don't think it would be Buffy, because he's already killed her twice. i think he would of kill off Xander, just because he would really want to make an impact on the audience, and killing Xander would really do that. Killing any of teh main Scoobies would, but Xander's just an ordinary guy who's been through so much. Joss likes to make an impact and do something daring, killing Xander definitly would.

Well, first, let me translate this question:

"If Joss decided to get rid of a core scooby in "Chosen," who do you think he would have gotten rid of?"

Well, I'm glad that all of the core four survived, and think it works nicely. But, if one of them were to die, I think it would be either Buffy or Giles. Willow and Xander are untouchable, in my opinion. Buffy had already died twice, so I don't think he would have done that again. Giles death would have been extremely emotional, and it would have wrapped up his story quite nicely.
 
Yea it was good that they all survived. They were the ones the show was based on and the last couple of seasons kinda made me forget that. So in the end it was nice to see them together at the end of all of it. But if one had to be killed I'm really not sure who it would have been. Buffy has been done twice, but I think it might have been her. She was the main character and it would have been a real shocker if that happened. And we all know Joss really likes to keep us guessing a lot so her death would have done that for sure.
 
Joss might think that Buffy dieing is getting old, so I think he would've killed Willow... He's stated before that everyone always expects her to die 'cause he puts her in great danger and never kills her. Maybe he would've finally killed her to surprise us... He would do it in the very last ep, of course, 'cause otherwise, angry fan letters ensue...
 
Buffy. It's the only choice that would be even close to fair or make any sense in my eyes...
 
Xander. Buffy died twice before, Willow is too strong to be killed and Giles wouldn't have much impact. So he would've kill Xander.
 
I loved the fact they all lived it somehow,but if I had to choose then Xander...He was needed the least...
 
Possibly Xander, we've mourned Buffy dying too many times. Xander has already been slated to not return to the Buffyverse. Willow could make a good guest appearance, and you never know if we need to re-soul Angel. Giles he wouldn't because 'Ripper' may finally begin filming someday.
 
Xander! It would of been a huge impact, all of there deaths would of been but Xander's death would of been the right way to go, as Willow, Giles and Buffy would appear either on spinoffs or over on Angel. It would of been very emotional.

Not Willow - Joss loved her too much.
Neither Giles - He's English...
Xander, probably - Dunno why....
 
In that alternate script to Chosen, Xander died while saving Dawn's life. Most people said that thing was fake, but I could see that being written by one of the Buffy writers.
 
Willow.

Buffy has already made her dramatic death scene(s), and we've already had two brushes with death dealing with Giles (Grave and when the Bringer swings the axe at him). Xander already lost an eye.

I see Willow as the only one who could've died and made such a huge impact. Nothing too terrible has happened to her (in terms of her direct death.... Tara's death doesn't count here)
