I would have had to say Xander. Xander didn't have any kind of powers, he wasn't the best fighter either. The rest of the gang knew how to kick demon butt...Buffy was the Slayer, Willow could work her magicks, and Giles knew how to fight and do magic. I saw those three could hold their own, bye bye Xander. ):
 
I think that they mighta got rid of Giles, b/c, he was kinda the old......but then when I thought about it again, it seemed like he kinda wanted to get rid of Xander, but who knows....*shrugs shoulders*....
 
I don't think Joss really wanted to get rid of any character in his show, but he sometimes did because of the dramatic effect and... "the show must go on"!

I think if would have gotten rid of any of the core characters it would have been Willow...
Giles = too old.. it just wouldn't have been like the other ones...
Xander = already had to suffer 'cause of his eye..
Buffy = already died twice so wouldn't have been so sad and dramatic and therefor the whole series would end pretty simple and it would just have been weird...

So I think it would have been Willow...everybody was so close to her and nobody really would have expected her death...

But I still think it is the best that none of them died, because they were there from the very beginning! They just belong together!
 
Now that I think of it, I think Xander, I don't know why, it is just a feelin I have....

Not Giles, I love Giles! 🙂

Uh... make on the topic. It would have been Xander and I am 99.9% sure of that. He made a very small and sometimes long impact in the show. It would have been a good closer for him since, you know, he almost die atleast once a season. 🙂 You gotta love the one-eyed boy.
 
I don't understand what all of you have against Xander. He is a good looking muscular guy... Don't you know anything you guys...

He wouldn't of killed Buffy, Not because of the "She already died twice" thing. That's stupid. Becuase we don't want Angel to mourn over her again. Uggh, I wouldn't be able to stand it!

He wouldn't of killed Willow because (
She has a spinoff coming.

He woundn't of killed Xander, because he already had the eyepatch, and that's enough drama.

He wouldn't of killed Giles because of the possiblity of "Ripper"

None of them are logical deaths.
 
Don't get me wrong. I love Xander. He is my favorite character since season 2ish. I just thought Joss would have chosen him to kill off.
 
Yea, that is what I think also, I mean who doesn't love Xander, it's just that, he really couldn't do anything...poor guy...🙁

Now, back to who Joss woulda killed off, like I said before, I love Xander to death, he is funny and all that great stuff, but did he really help? He was well kinda in the way sometimes....... *sniffs* Sorry Xander....
 
I chose non of them... none of their deaths would have made sense...

Giles... there is still the possiblity of the show "Ripper".
Willow... She has the possibility of her own show as well.
Xander... just... no... that's all... no.
Buffy... She has to be around to make a good story line for Spike and Angel.
