If Tara had turned out to be a real demon in "family"

I loved the unexpected turn that Tara wasn't actually a demon and wouldn't change it. But if she had turned out to be one, which kind do you think she would've been and how could it have effected the show?
 
I was just gonna say maybe WIllow wouldn't have dated her, but then remembered that Oz was a werewolf 😛

If she had of been a demon, perhaps she would have become more a part of the scooby gang, if she had any added strength for fighting.

Maybe if she had of been a demon, that gunshot wouldn't have killed her 🙁

No Tara dissing please! 😀 I agree with [MENTION=11797]ashleigh[/MENTION], being a demon could've made Tara more part of the gang, maybe stronger and more confident. I love her as she was, but it would've been a nice change to see. The contrast between shy human Tara and confident demon Tara would've been cool too! Or just a shy demon :heart:

I think it would have been a mistake- alt.hough it might have given Amber Benson something different to play, if you take Tara's humanity away then there's not much left to the character. A demonic Tara would probably just have become Anya-lite.

Who says becoming a demon would have changed Tara's personality and values at all? It's only vampires that are naturally evil as a rule; other demons can be good, like Clem or Lorne.
 
No! 😛 I like that Tara didn't end up being a demon... I love how Tara is the only one in the group who never appeared as someone or something evil or demonic. It just makes me love her even more. She's just so pure. 😱 ::heart::

In my opinion, she might have been a more interesting character. I was never a big fan of Tara, she never seemed to fit in with the Scoobies, they accepted her and everything but the chemistry with her and the rest of the cast was never there

And maybe i'm a little biased because I liked Willow/Oz a lot more XD
 
It would have been good if Tara had accepted herself as being part demon. What sort of demon, definitely not like Clem. I don't want to imagine Tara with droopy skin, so maybe she could have the abilty of her green blood enabling people to hear others thoughts. When Spike hit her in the Magic Shop, if her blood had affected him? Having Spike be able to hear the thoughts of all the Summers family. That may well have added a lot of humour.
Consider this, Miss Amber may have wanted her character to return as the First and meet Willow in the library. That interaction between Willow and Tara could have been one of the best scenes in the whole series.
 
Picture Tara and Glory in the park. Glory starts squeezing Tara's hand, and Tara says, "Don't make me angry.You wouldn't like me when I'm angry," then turning into a giant green rage demon. The look on Glory's face would have been great. Or Tara surviving until "Chosen," and Buffy saying "Tara, SMASH!"

Ubervamps and Bringers flying in all directions.
