I'm couldn't really make my mind up so I went for Spike and Lorne. Both would be really good options as there is still alot to explore with both of those characters.
 
I know it wouldnt really make much sense, but I think a Gwen spin-off would be wicked cool!
I mean, she's a modern day theif, with electricity running through her body...sounds like a good show to me...

I would like to see Spike get his own show. There is so much to work with there. Also if I had my choice from Buffy characters I'd pick either Willow or Faith.
 
I picked Spike because I love him, even though it could possibly be different, but might not appeal too much to people because it might go in the same, generic direction...heh did that make sense? Um...as much as I disliked Connor, that would be an interesting spin-off, although I'm not sure if many would watch since he's not a main character...anymore. With Wesley, it'd be interesting, and a lot of people like him. If they were to do a spin-off, I think I'd like a good mix of Buffy and Angel characters. Oh, and I'd really want to see Fred in it. :: teeth :
 
Faith.

Whedon, the WB folks, most of the fans, by pretty much everyone, Dushku is regarded as the one who, if given a worth vehicle, has the best chance of carrying a show on her own.

Barrinng that I say throw Wes, Lorne, Giles and Xander together in an apartment and let the wacky hijinx insue. That my friend would be television gold.

Not if they don't kill eachother first. The would be very very bad problem when it comes down to that.
 
How about they make a spin-off with Angel, Wesley, Fred/Illyari whatever, Lorne, Spike, Gunn and Harmony all working at Wolfram & Hart and call it Angel: Souled Vampire. Could be a way of getting around the whole cancelled thing, and the pitch to the WB could be "Will have lots of celebrities!"

Anywho, I think a Fred and Wesley one might be interesting but as I havn't seen the whole Fred mess that goes on I cant say much. Otherwise as people have said, a mix between Buffy and Angel.

How about Lorne: World Tour! Where Lorne gets a record deal and does gigs around the world, with Faith riding him on her motorcycle and killing any crazy demon groupies Lorne may get. Would be different.
 
I think the Illyria/Wesley thing stands most chance right now, thought actually I think that ME is plotting on a spin-off with new characters.
 
I would like to see one base on Fred and Wesley. (Can you tell by my sig? LOL!) I would love to see them with their own show. It would have been great. I liked the idea of calling it The Pryce. It sounds cool! Anyway, FRED AND WESLEY need a sitcom, for sure.
 
A sitcom? I'm sorry, I don't see that work. I think Harmony'd do much better in a sitcom, maybe together with Clem and Spike? Three super-naturally empowered non-humans sharing a flat?
 
FYI, a sitcom is simply a show that appears once a week. It doesn't ahve to be a comedy. Angel and Buffy are sitcoms. I, honesly, couldn't see it as a comedy, either.
 
Sitcom is short for situation comedy. But comedy in general is a no-no for the Buffyverse, it's much more drama oriented.
 
Sorry. I was always told that Sitcom was just a weekly show. Anyway, that's not what i meant. I wouldn't want it to be a comedy if it was there. Wes and Fred are to... i don't wanna say dramatic, but they aren't comedy material. Harmony and Spike would make a good comedy, though.

I wouldn't say that. Although AtS is certainly more geared toward drama, the first three seasons of BtVS were heavy on the comedy. I used to laugh more during an episode of Buffy than I did watching a season of Friends. The later seasons were certainly more drama than comedy (which I personally think explains why the the show peaked in season three) but early on it was a perfect mix.

BtVS is famous for blending genres. Drama, comedy, horror, action it was all of these and more. It even had episodes where the sole purpose was comedy and drama was an after thought. By no means is comedy a no-no when it comes to Whedon's shows.

A sitcom would be a change, but it would still fit.

Illyria! Who else? I'd totally tune in every week to watch her kick some butt, whether it be good or bad. I just really want to see more of her. 😀
 
I think that Faith would definitly be the best choice for a spinoff. And since she is sort of Bad/Good and Wesley is sort of Bad/Good they would make an awsome team! and possibly a good couple. Bring Angel... just because... Throw Giles in there because him and Wesley would have awsome chemistry (I assume by watching season 3). and Anand Andrew would have to come back because he idlizes Giles. and Giles is like Buffys father so she should come back too. and if Buffy comes back so does Willow... and in turn Xander... we can just assume Kennedy is dead by now... in other words... bring back the feel of season 2 of Buffy... with Faith and Wesley... hurray... wait... damn...

I think that there should be a Faith spin off. And because she is Good/Bad and Wesley is Good/Bad he should be there. and if Wesley is there Giles should be there. and if Giles is going to be there Buffy should come too since he is like her father. and if Giles is going Andrew should come along too... I guess... and if Buffy is going to be there Willow should go too. and if Willow will be there so should Xander. and if Buffy is going to be there so should Angel and Spike. and if Willow is going to be there she should bring back Cordelia because Cordelia was killed by a "Power that was" (God) like Buffy was she can do that you know. so in short. Giles/Buffy/Willow/Xander/Angel/Spike... wow... writing that makes me want to watch season 2 of Buffy... don't know why...oh... damn.

Ok... I'll try again. First Faith and Wesley. and If wesley is going to be there....
