If you could bring back one character?

I'm not sure if this question has been asked before, but if you could bring back one character from the Buffyverse who went walkabout for one reason, or another - who would you choose?

Although he may be slightly rancid smelling by now, I wouldn't mind seeing a resurrected Wesley hitting the books again.
 
Tara. I'm at peace with everyone dying. Tara was so innocent and it was all by chance that she got shot.
I'd like to say Fred or Cordelia, but that would just make their deaths meaningless.
They helped the helpless, and that's a risk.
Tara was an innocent, and didn't deserve it.
Not that Fred or Cordy did, but...aah I don't know how to describe it. :/

Probably Anya. I don't think her death was justified or well-done.

Or Wesley, just because by the end of Angel, I was totally enamored.
 
Man, there are numerous characters I'd just want to come back! Probably Glory, I'd like to see more to what she could have done and looking back at the seasons, I realize she is the only big bad that personally made me feel like the characters were truly helpless. But, if it's not a villain. I'd probably want to bring back Tara, I just don't know how she'd fit into the current season (eight). I honestly think she'd probably be killed again, probably even earlier - like in season seven. =/

I love Tara though, and I agree with Fredsicle on her innocence! Tara rocks! 😀
 
Darla. 😀 In my opinion, she's a character who you really can't kill. She was killed THREE times already, more than Buffy. She may be gone, but I think she'll be back. Like Buffy, she'll never stay dead. I hope. 😀

Anya. 100% that would be her. From season 3, where I hated her because she was a demon and send everyone in other world where Bangel doesn't exist, to seasons 4-7, she really started to be really intersting character. In season 4 I saw her like a fun girl who didn't belong anywhere but she tried, in the begining of season 5 she was just Xander's girlfriend, but in The Body I started to look her with different eyes. She was really starting to develop. I would bring her back, I miss her <3

Anya! She did not have to die at all! I think they just wanted to kill off a lead character in the finale, and she was the one that they considered most disposable. I think she would have brought craziness to the comics. I miss what she added to the scoobies and how hilarious she was.
In Angel, it would have to be Cordy. In You`re Welcome, it made me realize how much there was a piece missing without her. I also think it was just silly to have the whol Cangel possibilty and then throw it down the drain.

Anya, Anya, Anya. I'd sell my soul for Anya to come back. 😉 I know she only died in the last episode, so I didn't miss her much but hello, Anya is the best character ever. 😉
 
On Buffy it would definitely be Anya, so hopefully she and Xander would finally get their happily ever after. 🙂
On Angel it would be Wesley. Oh, how I love Wesley!
 
I think I'd want Wesley back, even though his character development was pretty much over. I just love Wesley. 😀
 
Wesley, without a doubt. I love Cordelia, but I've come to terms with her death. I will never see Wesley's character as having been "over." I think there was still so much left to do with him and I often feel like they killed him in NFA just for the sake of having a death in their finale that would really get to the audience.

Part of the reason I have trouble reading the post-ATF comics isn't because they aren't canon, but because it doesn't feel like Angel without him.

Agree! It's not that Wes' story was played out, they just wanted to go out with a bang, Joss has even said Wes would not have died if they had a S6 of Angel.
I think I have to go with Darla too. She was a great character and I loved her in Angel. I think there's still so much they could to with her character. She's such a tragic character.

But I'm also a huge Oz fan and I really missed his presence on the show.
 
Cordelia. I love you're welcome, but I always felt the Cordy character got short changed. I mean season 4, come on, a whole season with " Fake Cordy". We needed more time to get to see the real Cordy again. You're Welcome just wasn't enough.

Yep Darla for me as well. Plus I'm bitter that she had to die for Connor whom I hate.
