what style would you pick?

Although my normal answer is "Straight hair," which is something that would require daily maintenance, or more, to achieve, I do really like this look.

Not the middle parting version but the side parting.

Long hair, which I know many would pick if they didn't have to maintain it (it tends to be one of the first things to go after having kids!) is probably something I would not pick. Given that I do walk around doing this

having several feet of hair attached to my head just waiting to get caught on and in things strike me as an accident waiting to happen.

I have known girls with hair so long, they had to pick it up and sit it on their lap to sit down. It may be low maintenance, but they had to do this all the time.

Haha..I learned this lesson first hand. I have long hair, and usually keep it fairly long. Anyways, one day I was doing plant chores and I walked by the windowsill, which of course had plants on it, and I swear one of the plants reached out and grabbed my hair, which resulted in two plants having their Humpty Dumpty moments of fame, and the pots broke right along with them.

I can do this without long hair; anything within a foot of a surface's edge is in danger of being knocked over, especially in the kitchen! With long hair, I could see it getting caught in doors, lifts, escalators...

You can have short hair at home and maintain it yourself! All you need to do is buy a trimmer and buzz it all down to the same length. Admittedly, not even I do that all over. 😀

I already have low maintenance hair, what I'd prefer would be headacheless hair styles. I'd love to do braids etc but I get headaches from a ponytail.

My hair as it was the day dad got his doctorate. Before i needed dye and when it was its thickest and glossyest. (Is glossyest a word?)

My hair was big and curly and the perfect shade of chestnut that glowed in the sun. I miss that hair!

When i was a teenager i thought it was weird bc all my friends had black or very dark brown hair. At one pontni straightened it and though it was pretty it was hard on my hair and a ron of work. We dont appreciate what we have.

Mine was lighter coloured than hers but this is close. And no i did not curl or straighten it or dye it.

It was not low maintenance for my friend in high school. And it slowly thinned at the top. Too much weight maybe? It was down to her thighs and she always wore it up.

Piper from Charmed. She has the perfect came from a saloon but never looks overdone. Not to mention whatever highlights she has looks so natural. I’ve had my hair that length and it tangles and gets oily faster because of the weight. When I say it tangles I mean that 5 minutes after brushing and/or styling it my hair was a mess. I now have shorter hair and it’s a lot easier to maintain but I’d love long hair if it always looked nice.

I get my hair professionally cut every few years whether it needs it or not. Usually takes that long for me to trust my hair to they-who always-cut-off-too-much. And for me to get tired of cutting it now i no longer have good look behind mirrors. Used to maintain it for years and never been happier with anyone else's cut but this one lady who lived about 100 miles away. But she quit when she had health stuff... Prolly was her cut when dad got his degree.

Discovering its easier to have long hair again now. So without the maintenance i would do just past shoulder length cos it sits nice and can be tied up. I just had to wash it and cut it more at that length.
