You know yourself better than anyone...quirks, moods, personality, etc. The question is, if you met someone exactly like yourself, would you get along with this person? Would you be the best of friends or deadly enemies?

I wouldn't get along with someone like myself...I'm far too moody and obsessive. 😛

This would sort of remind me of Oz in "Earshot" when he was thinking:

OZ (V.O.)
I am my thoughts. If they exist in her,
Buffy contains everything that is me
and she becomes me. I cease to exist.

But someone exactly like myself would not engage in small talk, would have interesting hobbies and would have interesting stories to tell, so we would probably get along just fine.

Well I think we would be best of friends. So much we would have in common and so much to chat about!!!! Although I do think we might get into a lot of trouble though lol.

Never taking anything seriously.....we would probably irritate the cr* p out of each other 🙄

But I guess the whole having the same interests & opinions.....probably wouldn't have to talk at all. We would know exactly what the other was thinking...

Could work 🙂

In the words of the (literally) immortal Ras Thavis, "The world simply could not contain two such intellects as myself."

But, seriously, I came as close to having an intellectual doppelganger as anyone ever could have in my father. Everyone told me that talking to me was exactly like talking to him, and that I would react exactly the same way in any situation as he would have. I can't say for sure that this is true, because I never noticed it. I can only say that we had what I consider to be a wonderful relationship, and I miss him very much.

I get along with most people so we would probably be okay.
We would of course never meet or talk ever since none would bother to contact the other... lol

I'd think we'd get along, and we might even organize some things so we could have different experiences and share later (or online) with each other.

I've always wanted the impossible ability to meet myself from parallel worlds (different circumstances, one major different choice I made in life, perhaps different gender but otherwise identical life as much as possible, and some from radically different timelines) and compare notes. Though any such "twins" from a parallel universe won't necessarily be anything like me, even if just a major different choice was made, or if some seemingly small incident turned out different. It could easily turn out like Vampire Willow meeting Willow. 😱

Oh god no. I'd find her annoying! 😀😀

The prospect of having someone to sit on top of the hill with, someone who will laugh at the same jokes as me.

If I met someone like me, we'd be too nervous to actually start a conversation with each other. At least if we did manage to start talking, we'd get on well.

To chat with someone who thinks like me, who'll agree with my extreme notions of how to save the world.
But one thing is for sure, neither of us would want to be immortal; who'd want to live forever?
Why continue living when the world is dying?

I had the dubious honor of having this happen. For about 6 months it was amazing, like a drug. Then it suddenly went very very bad. It's like finding your soul, knitting together with it and then getting it ripped from you again leaving all those loose threads dangling.

NEVER AGAIN

I think I'd be good at first. We'd go on and on about my Buffy theories for hours but I don't think that two very similar people can get along for too long. I can't even stand myself sometimes.

I have met myself. I call her "Mum"

Sometimes we're mates but, keep a distance cos one of us will blow up sooner or later. Period of no contact, then awkward mates again. Repeat.
