If you started watching the show with the episode "Superstar"

Would you had taken the show seriously if you started it with Superstar from season 4?

The episode assumes that you know the characters and the show already, so you know something is up from the get go. The fun part is working out what on Earth is going on. Also, with Jonathan being a favourite amongst the writers and many of the fans, it's his moment in the spotlight. So I don't think the episode works at all if taken out of context by a first time viewer.

Well, I don't know why anyone would want to start watching a show in the middle of a season, let alone the 4th season, but no... If "Superstar" had been the first episode I ever saw, I wouldn't have been compelled to watch anymore.
