@ChaseRules She's an adult, no rebellion necessary! But it's true she has always liked kissing, or so she tells me.

Many mammals greet each other by smelling each others faces, rubbing faces. And they groom their "friends" and partners by licking them. So we're totally on the spectrum of behavior.

Many of our pets lick us, many like to lick their owners faces.

We're just doing what comes naturally.
 
Maybe she started doing that to rebel & like you said just likes it now.

And l can't believe how some people let their pets kiss them 😱

My daughters talk way to much. I never told my Mum anything but I'm constantly nodding and showing the correct amount of interest and no judgement while a little voice in my head screams "too much information, too much information". Kids these days!

God. I NEVER volunteered ANY information to my mum! That would've been suicide.
 
I'm told I'm the cool Mum but man there's a high price to be paid for being easy to talk to.....
 
She almost caught me at a restarant once . I ran out of there so fast .
 
My cat gives me "kisses" but it's never on the face, normally a lick on the arm or something.

She does use tongues though. 😀
 
I would prefer to be kissed by a human than a pet, and that goes for bunnies, cats and dogs.
