...what nightmare of your would we have seen coming true?

Mine would have been millions of snakes slithering around everywhere. I am terrified of snakes, and if there were snakes everywhere kinda like in Season 2's "I Only Have Eyes For You", I would have been freaking the hell out!
 
^ No...that would be MY nightmare, ladies....except substitute your snakes and spiders with those red foot-long centipedes....
 
Ew snakes! Ew spiders! Ew centipedes! Keep talking about this in further detail, please. Make the hairs on my neck stand up even more, why don't you. 😛

Mine would have to be a classic: getting killed. I swear, those type of nightmares still manage to scare the shit out of me. And the killers are always like a dark shadow, on the street at night. I never see their faces, or what they wear. I see their outline, and immediately get terrified. I'll wake up and start checking all my doors and windows. Then I'll just be awake all night, paranoid as hell. Happens every time.
 
I'm on board the pants-wettingly-terrified-of-spiders train.

I absolutely hate them. Even just typing about them makes me scared.

I'm also incredibly claustrophobic so I suppose being in a small space with spiders would be the ultimate nightmare!

Oh and also I have a fear of my mum and dad betraying me so maybe the ultimate nightmare would be them betraying me by putting me inside a small space with spiders 😛
 
I'd be attacked by groups of chicken! I have chicken-phobia. And my mother learning about the NC 17 Spander fics I've written. 😀
 
Well I'm defintiely on board with that whole 'a room filled with snakes' train, gosh... just makes me shiver. I'm fine with snakes in small numbers but a room filled with them... Or clowns for that matter!!

Although, last night I had a horrible nightmare that someone stole my bear cub (don't ask me why I had a bear cub.... no idea), so maybe if I was in Nightmares someone would endanger/take someone precious to me?

If I was really in the Btvs Nightmares episode though I'd probably spend it being chased by Sid.... 😱
 
my nightmares are spiders!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hate these creatures!!!
they are horribles and disgusting!!!!! and especially those who are hairy !!!!!

Stranded in a field full of cows, not knowing where I am. I am terrified of the bovine b*****ds and hate being lost.

Mine would have involved rape. I won't go into detail, but it would have been very gruesome, and put every so called nightmare in 'Nightmares' to shame.

tarantulas for me... I hate all spiders, but tarantulas are just the ultimate nightmare. I can't even watch that part of the episode when we see them in the classroom...

Seriously, in my Nightmare the whole floor would be covered in snails and I'd have to walk through with bare feet.
Only to find out that Iron Maiden are retiring.
I have nothing against snails in general, but what I hate about them is stepping on them and squishing them.

Hmmm I have a few:

1) Being trapped in a small place with snakes, spiders, or any creepy crawly really. Having to be around them would drive me insane, if they were actually on me I'd probably die of fear instantly.

2) Being chased by someone or something and not being able to move fast or scream. Like no matter how hard I tried to run I could only get a few inches away and no sound came out when I talked or yelled.

3) Being dumped in the ocean out in the middle of nowhere...with no idea which direction to go or what lurks beneath me.

Yes! I know... being locked into a some kind of waterproof casket by your teenage son whom you've only known for a few weeks really because he was kidnapped as a child and believes you to be evil and... wait a minute, no... nevermind that 😉

I'm really with you on the dumped in the ocean thing though. I'm kind of afraid when it comes to water and what lurks beneath it when I'm awake so it definitely makes it's way into nightmares as well.
 
I think a lot of my real nightmares tend to be quite psychological, in that the stuff that terrifies me is things like loss of identity, people not recognising me and so on.

Having said that, when my aunt died about two years ago I had a series of nightmares about this Samurai figure charging around and coming after me.
 
Mine would be mice. Everywhere. The last house I lived in got infested by mice....And it led to me, I shit you not, moving out. Terrible phobia of them. Disgusting little creatures.
 
Snakes, spiders, mice, as long as there isn't too many of them the spray I have gets rid of them.
Now naturally occurring phenomena, not the stuff of nightmare for me exactly, mainly because I am to curious. Locally there is a good one, sometimes at night, when the mist rolls down from the hills to the river, it is just weird.
Mist occurs when there is to much moisture in the air, so why does the normally dry land produce the stuff, and more importantly, why does it 'roll' toward the river? The river should be where the mist originates.
Then there is the ghost that always uses the path next to my place. But that is another story.
 
My Nightmare would seriosuly be a lot like "The Thin dead line" from AtS where cops go uber- constraint on me and use brutal force. that would be my nightmare.
 
Mine would have been spiders and clowns! Unlike Xander I dont think I would have been able to punch the clown in the face, I would have been way too scared!
 
Besides bugs, snakes, my ex coming after me, and being at the top of a ladder on the edge of a cliff, drowning or being buried alive is up there on the list
