I would move to somewhere where I can get a good fast internet connection
 
OMG that is a HUGE question lol....

After seeing advisor's and such and putting a substantial amount aside in savings and for my daughter... I'd buy a house in our street, a car, give my brother the money he needs to buy his house, give my dad's money to pay off mortgages etc etc...then take my daughter to Disneyland and me off to Miami for Miami ink hehehe....oh and large amounts of money to people that have been there for me like my best friends.

I'll assume it's in the millions so...

I'd buy a house somewhere, not sure where,maybe somewhere in the UK in the country,and another one abroad somewhere, maybe Monaco.

I'd give some to my family for what ever they wanted, i'd also make a few donations to RSPCA (Animal care) and a few other charities.

I'd deffinately travel, always wanted to do things such as Whale Watching or going into a Shark cage, so those would be on the list.

Other than that just buy what ever and not have to worry about it!
 
First, I would pay off student loans for myself, my husband, and our siblings. I would pay off our mortgage and mortgages for our parents and SIL and buy my brother a house.

Then I would set up college funds and trusts for my kids, and huge retirement funds for Ryan and I.

After that I would start giving it away! I would add to my church's endowment fund, set up a trust for the local animal shelter so they could live off the interest, give money to extended relatives. Maybe build a house for us so I can have a bigger closet!
 
First thing: Put aside money for my dad's mortgage for the next few months and pay it this month. Second thing: pay my tuition. Third thing: Start paying of my dad's debt. and I'd save a little to help mom and her husband make a down payment on a one story house so mom doesn't have to walk up the stairs. And so that it will be easier to sell this one.

then I'd have fun for the rest of my life. And see the whole world. Or, as much of it as I possibly could! 🙂
 
I'd get all of my family (and myself) out of debt and then go to school in England for Medieval History and be a History proff.

That's sort of what I've always wanted to do, but couldn't afford it.

Though before that I'd probably take the hubby on a cruise to the Caribbean for a month.
 
Pay off my parents' mortgage, give some to charity, and travel the world. I'd probably also pay my to-be uni fees and buy a house. Or several, in several different countries. I'd go to NY and see all the broadway shows. And I'd go to the Harry Potter theme park in Orlando.
 
I'd hardly spend anything at first. I would probably become paranoid with that kind of money. I'd wait till I trippled it at least before doing anything drastic with it. I'd hit the real estate market first, then I'd take care of my fam. It's not as mean as it sounds, promise. 😀
 
Realistically, I would pay a whole WHOLE lot of taxes on the prize money, then with what was left over, make a down payment on a set of tires for my car. Recaps.
 
I'd buy a house in Mt. Horeb. I visted that town during a soccer game and I fell in love with it. It has wooden trolls everwhere!

Is that not awesome? I'd give the rest of it away to charites for random, overlooked things, like the "Save the Endsngered Bandicoot Fund" or "The Society for the Prevention of Balloon-Related Violence" or something. 😀

I'd buy a nice house with a lot of nice stuff in it (tv, computer, workout machines etc.) and a nice car. Give money to my parents and brother so that they could have nice things. Then invest in some kind of entertainment facility to keep the money coming in 🙂
 
That entirely depends on the amount.

If I won so much that if I lived with sense, I never had to work again, I'd do that, even if it meant I would have to work extra to be able to afford travels and such. Or maybe I could save up that money, and work normally, but instead get a early retirement at 30, 40, 50, whatever.

But before that, I have student loan, mastercard loan and a new house to buy my mom (she lives in a really crappy one now, no real bathroom or anything). My little sister and her family (fiancee and baby) are looking for a house (they'll setle for a bigger apartment right now) and could probably need a loan too. Specially since they're aiming to have another child as soon as possible.

But let's go crazy, and say I won so much that I never had to work again if I live in moderation, AND had a million or two to spend.

I would buy a house and fil it with cool stuff (a comic book library, a fake bar, etc etc)travel, live in atleast two different countries, self-publish a novel (maybe just as a Kindle book, but still), maybe start a Swedish comic book anthology or write a comic on my own, do things on my bucket list (see sites, learn to play guitar, etc etc).

So I wouldn't go crazy (unless I won a crazy amount of money) and choose a modest life.
 
First, I'd pay off my student loan! Then I'd send much money to my Mom and Nanny so they wouldn't have to worry about money for a long time. And then I'd probably just put a bunch away, and buy awesome things for my boyfriend and friends! Oh! And I'd get a dog...or two 'cause I could now afford it! And a new hedgehog...
 
We have this conversation in our house every saturday night 🙂

If I won in the millions I would:
- Continue with my last year of uni but quit my job so I could focus fully on my coursework
- Make my family and friends rich through buying cars, houses, holidays etc.
- Take my trip to America and Canada that I've always dreamt of
- Continue to work post qualifying but volunatrily for a hospice or something
- Buy myself and my boyfriend a home
- And a couple of cars
- Donate a lot of it to various charities that often get overlooked by much larger charities
- Save some
- And finally... Enjoy it!!
