AND you live in Massachusetts, under a new bill being proposed by one of its members of the Legislature anyone over 60 can no longer pose nude or sexually for a film or a photo. The person taking the pic also faces jail time.

Memo to the "representative" who penned this legislation: Are you honestly sure that the Bay State isn't facing other, more pressing challenges...such as, oh I don't know...trying to keep your state from financially collapsing like a house of cards? Or does your heart go a twitter when people of a certain age decide to be seen in their birthday suit?

To answer your second question: The legislator says there is.

However, laws are already in place to protect them and to punish those convicted of breaking the law. Here's a novel thought: How about using the laws you already have on the book, instead of passing a law that will likely do the opposite of what you intend-if it doesn't get struck down by the courts if it passes?

Seriously though, when has the simple fact that there was already a perfectly good, fully applicable law on the books keep any politician from voting for and passing a second, third, fourth, fifth, or even more law dealing with the same issue? That's why the criminal justice system here and in practically every other country in the world is so complex and cluttered with redundant and even contradictory laws.
