Okay...we all know where that quote is from, right?! YES!!Arnold, our favorite Terminator first uttered those infamous words many years ago!

Old Master and I have been playing our own "quote" game which is very similar to the BB "Road Game" thread but instead of using movies themselves we are using quotes from our favorite movies. We wanted to share our game with all of our friends on the BB so....

I'll start it...I'll give you guys a quote from a MOVIE and whoever knows where it came from gives the movie and then another quote of their choice! Have fun!

"Let's get out of here before one of those things kills Guy."

Hmm....looks like nobody is a movie fan around these parts.....lol...

Well. I certainly am not gonna allow your thread to fall to page two.....so I'll weigh in with the first answer...

"Let's get out of here before one of those things kills Guy." > GALAXY QUEST

And now mine:

"The Master will kill you for this....but not fast! Slowly....oh so slowlyyyy......"

<

"The Master will kill you for this....but not fast! Slowly....oh so slowlyyyy......"<Fright Night

"Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father: prepare to die."

Ohh puleez....lol

Hello, my name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father: prepare to die." > THE PRINCESS BRIDE

---------------
Ok wise guy...here's a harder one:

"Authority is not given to you to, steward, to deny the return of the king......"

(ok....maybe it won't be so hard.....lol....)

<

Hey there Old M! You have to suffer with the simplicity of my quotes, I am not the quote master here...we know that! 😀 Thanks for playin' with me though!

"Authority is not given to you to, steward, to deny the return of the king......"<Lord of the Rings: Return of the King (Gandolf)

Okay, my turn! lol "If God made it that way, you'd all be pissing in your faces."

Aah, crap! I know this one.......I am trying to place it.....dammit I will NOT be stumped! LOL.

Ok, hmm, I'm forced to take a GUESS here....

"If God made it that way, you'd all be pissing in your faces." > THE GOONIES

(did I get it?)
---------------------

Hehe.....ok....I KNOW I'll get you with this one:

PERSON 1: "You can't give sick people Tic-Tacs!"

PERSON 2: "Sick people have notoriously bad breath....I'm performing a public service here."

Yes! You are right! Hey OM...I found a way to cheat, lol! Forgive me...this game shall not be able to continue if I do not...but it is still fun finding yours and giving you new ones...still waiting for the others to join us! 🙂

"Sick people have notoriously bad breath....I'm performing a public service here." <Bedazzled (I know you gave me a Brendan Frasier one on purpose! Silly!)

Okay, my turn again!

"It's not nice to fool with the dark overlords!" OM...I own this movie!

Correct.....but hey, what's with all the cheating?? I thought you were supposed to be good at this? 😛
That isn't fair....I had to rack my brain to guess your GOONIES quote. Lol.

Fine...have it your way.

I have the answer:

"It's not nice to fool with the dark overlords!" > HOWARD THE DUCK

Geezus pleezus woman, WHY would you have THAT horrible flick in your collection?? UGH! Lol.

---------------

Alrighty then, my turn:

"Noooo.....you must not read from the book!!"

Can i play too?

^This is from Howard The Duck.

How about " Feeling screwed up at a screwed up time in a screwed up place does not necessarily make you screwed up."

Ahh, nuts....it would appear that we posted at the same time, Kindred...lol. Ah, but no worries.
And of COURSE you can play....ANYONE may join if they wish.

And now, to answer yours:

" Feeling screwed up at a screwed up time in a screwed up place does not necessarily make you screwed up." > PUMP UP THE VOLUME

I USED to own that movie....friggin' sub standard VCR I used to have chewed it up....

---------

My turn then, try and guess the quote I just put up previously for Chasity:

"Noooo.....you must not read from the book!!"

The Mummy.

Sorry about that, especially seen as mine was about three minnutes after yours. All I can say is that I'm special.

Here's another:

"I gave her my heart and she gave me a pen."

LOL, yes...I suppose we'll have to make certain allowances for your specialness... 😛

My answer:

"I gave her my heart and she gave me a pen." > SAY ANYTHING

( good movie. )

----------

My turn:

"I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. "

>

"I came here tonight because when you realize you want to spend the rest of your life with somebody, you want the rest of your life to start as soon as possible. " > When Harry Met Sally.

Aww, you big sap.

Okay, my turn:

"It's best not to be too moral; you cheat yourself out of too much life. Aim above morality."

I really like this quote, and love the movie.

No girlie, you don't understand....my girlfriend made me buy that movie.....right....that's the ticket.........

Ok....I'm afraid that you stumped me with your quote....dagnabbit!
I was forced to go look it up....and I am so ashamed...lol.

"It's best not to be too moral; you cheat yourself out of too much life. Aim above morality." > HAROLD AND MAUDE

I have never seen the movie...but I knew OF it. What's it supposed to be about, anyway?

-----------

And now for another:

"Casey, when did you become Sigourney Weaver?"

>

"Casey, when did you become Sigourney Weaver?" > The Faculty.

From romance to teen movies, eh?

Harold and Maud is about a relationship that develops between two eccentric people. A young man obsessed with death and an older woman intent on getting all there is out of life... I think, or you can just look it up somewhere.

"Some people say forgive and forget. Nah, I don't know. I say forget about forgiving and just accept. And... get the hell out of town."

Diversity is the spice, Kindred.

Now this one I know:

"Some people say forgive and forget. Nah, I don't know. I say forget about forgiving and just accept. And... get the hell out of town." > GROSSE POINT BLANK

Hmm, am I sensing a pattern here with these John Cusack movies? Lol.

------------------

And now, one for you:

"There were five curtain calls. I was an actor once, damn it. Now look at me. Look at me! I won't go out there and say that stupid line one more time! "

>

"There were five curtain calls. I was an actor once, damn it. Now look at me. Look at me! I won't go out there and say that stupid line one more time! "> Galaxy Quest???

I think it's great that you have a diverse taste in movies, really.

And yes, I do have quite a thing for John Cusak.

"Next time I have to come in here, I'm crackin' skulls."

Ohh puleez....EVERYONE knows this one...lol.....

"Next time I have to come in here, I'm crackin' skulls." > THE BREAKFAST CLUB

My girlfriend forces me to be diverse in my movie watching....blame her...that's right......it's her.....

As for John Cusack, I like him too. Good actor, that one.

--------------

This is my last entry for the night:

"I despise rapists. For me, they're somewhere between a cockroach and that white stuff that accumulates at the corners of your mouth when you're really thirsty. But, in your case, I'll make an exception."

Goodnight, and sleep well, Kindred.

>

Well, sorryy... I thought I'd dip into the classics seen as my brain has turned to mush.

"I despise rapists. For me, they're somewhere between a cockroach and that white stuff that accumulates at the corners of your mouth when you're really thirsty. But, in your case, I'll make an exception." > Con Air

I only know this because both John Cusak and John Malkovich are in this movie. Which brings to mind "Being John Malkovich", ever seen it?

Fine then, party pooper. I had a really good one too, oh well, I'll post it anyway.

Thanks, and I hope that you also have a nice evening. Not working are you? Well, in any case, I hope you sleep well eventually.
