Requirements....

Must have many gun battles...
Must be Rated R....
And it must kick ass....

My nominee....The Rock....the illest action movie ever....and one of the funniest quotes ever....

"How In the name of Zeus' butt hole did you get out of your cell?"
lol

your nominees yall...

THERE ARE SO MANY! Off the top of my head I have to say I love the Lord of the Rings type action. When they really get into battle. I could go with a clasic and say any Lethal Weapon movie. Or I could give an all time fav that will always get the blood pumpin'...THE CROW.

lotr doesn't count...not rated R....

lethal weapons always good...mel gibson is a great actor...crow was ill...

you got it Ukker...

what's with nicolas cage in that movie, he always says certain words loudly, like "how in the name of ZEUSES BUTHOLE!!!!!!!!!!! did you get out of your cell", and "let's cut the chit-chat, A-HOLE!!!!!!!" ..maybe there was really that many exclamation points in the script, i don't know. either way, it was funny

anyway, the correct answer is terminator 2

rock was ill....

"I take pleasure in guttin you....boy"
lol

i would've said t2...but the dialogue wasn't clever...didn't make you wanna remember the lines...i guess i like my action-dialogue...

the scene where ahnold is shooting down on the all the cops....thats one of the illest scenes ever...

come on, everyone remembers "hasta la vista, baby"

but yeah, i agree the rock has more funny moments, and sean connery rules

"what do you want me to do, kill him again?"

cage: "are you okay?"
connery: "yes, perfectly alright, you ****ing idiot."

Hmm i'm going to go with The Crow, which is my all time favourite movie:

- An 18
- Good few gun battles
- Great hand to hand combat scenes, and actually had a good storyline, and of course had the late great Brandon Lee.

Shame Black Hawk Down is only a 15 as that is a goodie too.

Although I tend to prefer more sword fights than guns. I'm a big martial arts fan.

fighting movies are an entirely different genre...illest fighting movie is lionheart....it made me cry....

Yeah, I know they are a different genre, just saying that I prefer them to the traditional action movies. Wow you cried at that. Fighting movie for me is between Enter The Dragon and Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, although there was this amazing Hong Kong cinema movie I watched but can't recall the name, I remember there was a guy with blue hair in it.

Bad boys II was amazing...its up there with t2...the rock...bad boys was aight....

i cried at lionheart cause of that little gurl....when leo gotta leave she's like looking all sad and everything....and emotional attachment to leo having to go back to serve time just broke me down...you'd have to be made of some hard stuff to not tear a little...

best fighting....any movie with bruce lee....he was amazing with the quickness and the timing....none of his fights seemed long...just hella cool...

blade II is one of the iller movies i've seen...i don't know which category it goes into...that scene where wesley is just snappin security guard necks is amazing....

Let's go with a classic. From Hong Kong legends John Woo and Chow Yun-Fat, released in 1992: Hard Boiled.

It begins with a shootout at a tea house, and ends blowing up a hospital. Everything the Lethal Weapon movies aspired to be, Hard Boiled was. Every gunman you see firing two guns owes the move to these gentlemen. Hong Kong action--there is nothing finer.
