Illyria Spin-Off show.

I think Illyria is a fascinating character, and I would love to see more of her, but I'm just not sure that she could carry a series by herself. She's just too much of an outsider. Co-starring with one of the other characters, Wes or Spike ideally, but a Faith/Illyria team up might be interesting.
 
I can barely stand Illyria, let alone tolerate a spin-off based upon her character.

For shame! Illyeria was a wonderful character in her own quirky way.
I didn't particullarly like Illyria, but that was mostly because I missed Fred too much, but I think a spin-off might be quite cool =]

It's more credits but they're really good. And personally I would take the Buffyverse in any way, shape, or form. As long as it was back on TV. (Just no Buffy Teletubbies please. Then I'd quit the Jossverse. 😛)

Yeah I really did not like Illyria much at all because of what she did to Fred. :cry2: But I think that she was an interesting character and maybe in the series finale they would find Fred's soul somewhere and put it back. :lmao:
 
Personally I think that it would be a great idea, I loved Illyria despite what she did to Fred. A spin off where we learn more about her would be cool.
 
I didnt really like Illyria, imo there aint really much to her, a one dimensional character.
 
I like Illyria but i feel like wesley when i see her , i see Fred pretending to be a Xmen character lol but mainly i miss Fred .

Illyria has some amazingly funny lines tho , plus if her and groo ever meet how funny would their conversations be x
 
I'd love an Illyria spin off show, although i hated what she did to Fred, I could see it from a story point of view and give Fred a new story arc, if the show wasn't canceled maybe they would have fleshed her character out some more and expanded on her past.

She would need some other known characters for the show though. Spike, Illyria and Faith. That would be some gang.

I would love a Spike/Illyria spin-off. Or a "Faith the Vampire Slayer".
 
I came up with an Illyria spin-off in the form of a video game, I reckon that would be fantastic to play as her, she has such a great fighting style and raw physical power. It was going to continue her story (along with Spike) after NFA but the comics kind of messed with that, I will have to read them to factor them in. I agree she couldn't pull off a show, but a game is fine.
 
The Buffy games aren't all that great though, unfortunately.
I thought Spike should have gotten his own spin-off at least. His character was popular enough. But Illyria is an awesome character on her own and I would have definitely watched a spin-off starring Amy Acker.
