THAT'S IT!

1. The storyline isn't the same! Willow becameDark Willow on her own, by grieving over Tara. Fred didn't have a choice.

2. Gunn or Wesley wouldn't be Illyria because Knox chose to use Fred!

3. If you complain why it's the geeks that turns into bad-ass bitches, you wouldn't be able to choose Wes.Wes is quite the geek himself.

4. Cordelia was used in season three as a tool for evil, she ain't a geek.
 
I don't like Illyria becuase everybody thinks she powerfull but she not 😛 every body saying she a "God King " But she Bloody Not !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

she a pure demon bigger then normal demons and Buffy has the weapon to kill pure demons 😀

I didn't really care about her either way. It kinda ruined Freds death for me, i don't think she brought anything to the 'verse. Just blueness. Not the worst though, KENNEDY is by far the worst by a milli miles 🙂
 
ryonizdabest, are you for real? I thought there was an age restriction on the site. Seriously, talking with you is like debating with a child in elementary school. Possibly pre-school. This "I'm right, you're wrong!" attitude is really getting on my nerves, as I'm sure it is getting on everyone else's.

Illyira IS a God Demon/Queen. It is a FACT. You cannot debate it. So don't try. And maybe the reason everyone thinks she's powerful is because she is? Please go and re-watch the end of season five before making any more comments. It would do us all a favor.

I wasnt that interested in Fred as a character but i was upset when Illyria came. However it turned out to be good for the show. It made Weasley's death scene very gripping and it was the first time in the buffy/angel universe where i actually cried.
It was also good that yet another character in buffy/angel had dramitically changed since there first appearance. Since Fred didnt really change much at all untill that point.
 
Illyria is a great character, and other than the real Fred, she's my favorite charavter in Angel, so, no. I don't think she's the worst character ever. Although, it would've been cool if they could've...split Illyria and Fred? Or something like that. Maybe not, A Hole In the World was great, on the other hand.

^Couldn't be done since Fred's just as dead as Joyce or Tara.
 
I really, really hate Illyria. I think the character is totally 1 dimensional and boring. And now that I've seen all of S5, I can say that with experience. LOL
 
Just realized something: Illyria and Lilah pretty much do the same thing to try and get Wesley attention - Dress up as Fred

Illyria has actually grown on me, but right now, I'm watching the episode where they kill her off. It makes me hate Illyria all over again.
 
Well you could argue Illyria didn't really 'kill Fred'. Wesley said she infected Fred with no more Malice than a viral infection. Knox and that memory doctor are the real ones to blame and well they got theirs.

I blame Knox for Illyria. Him and that memory doc dude are the ones I hated more than I hated Illyria herself.
