I think it would have been better if they were the right age or LOOKED the age of the character. Cordelia was just rediculas. She was a great character and the acting was good so i can't imagine her any other way now. But i think overall the show would have been better if they looked the right age and cut back on the sex scenes. But, if you keep all the sex then cast older people. Xander was way too old looking. He was meant to be an unpopular 16 yr old geeky boy with his nerdy female friend. Instead he looked like a god damn HUGE and i don't see how anyone would have picked on him or his friend.
