FOX POSTER TUBE Bones X-Files Stargate Comic Con Buffy - eBay (item 190260008944 end time May-27-09 18:56:08 PDT)

So I just got this poster tube in the mail. I assumed it would filled with posters, but now when I re-read the auction, I see that

I'm a moron

22 bucks down the drain. And it's not the first time I've misunderstood a "ambigious" auction.

So to make myself feel better, I started this thread.

Guys, please tell me of your "I'm a moron"-moments so I can feel better. I can't be the only one who misunderstands stuff or acts like a dummy.

I can tell you...you're NOT alone! I do it so much that I don't even have one particular moment to share. It's quite sad really. I do moronic things on a daily basis. Okay, here's one after all. I misread an email from a potential client that wanted boudoir shots done. They wanted me to come to a hotel to shoot them for an adult dating site. AFTER I agreed I went back after jumping the gun and sending them examples and realized that is was a dude. Yup. Some random guy that posted for a female photographer to come meet them in some hotel alone to get naked and take pics. Needless to say that job didn't happen and I was out the money. Not that I'm opposed to take pictures of men but when they want to meet you alone in a locked hotel room you have to question their motives. He signed the email Frank and I didn't even bother reading that far. I was just excited for work...

I'd say I act like a moron most of the time. Or at least way too often. But I don't have any specifics to share but to misread or mishear stuff and say or act from what I think it was happens all the time.

When i said "Wild Hogs? This movie looks good, i think i'll watch it"

LOL! Along those same lines, when I said "I have heard a lot about this movie Kill Bill, I think I'll watch." Sorry, if anyone here likes it but, in my opinion it sucked. All action + no story= Big thumbs down from Willowsgirl.

Its good if you aint got time to watch and read all the movies it rips. It's like a pamphlet on great asian martial arts movies

Did you only watch the first one, because Volume 2 is nearly all story and very little action.

Well, i had a moron moment when i was around 10, and i punched myself in the eye and gave myself a shiner. My mom covered it with makeup so that when i went to school the next day, they would'nt think my dad beat me or something *shakes head*. i was a clumsy little kid.

Ohh, things I've done that make me a moron...
I once was wondering how long it would take hot glue to cool down...so I put my finger in it. It took a lot longer than I thought and I ended up urning my finger rather badly.
Oh, also with glue. My sister told me to put some superglue on my finger, so I did (moron point number one), then told me to put my fingers together, so I did (moron point number two) It took 2 hours to seperate my fingers...

Well, just picking one moment out of a huge pile, errmm....Oh, erm you know the whole Guy Fawkes thing? How there was the Gunpowder plot to blow up the Houses of Parliment...well it wasn't until i was around 12 i realised...he's not actually a fox...who knew!!?? The embarrassing part came when we had to draw out the story in primary school, and Guy Fawkes in all my pictures was actually a fox 😛

That's ADORABLE!
The first time i played Final Fantasy 10, i was watching the opening video, and then, it just froze, i moaned about it all day, then just before i went to take it back the next day, i tried it again and found it it hadn't froze, the video had ended and it was waiting for me to play...

I totally took my disc back and got a new one before I realized what was going on! Hahaha. So glad someone else did the same thing!

Question: Why would I watch the sequel to a movie that I thought was bad? A lot of my friends who love the movies have told me this and that question is how I respond. Doesn't make sense to watch the sequel when I thought the first one was bad.

Because it's not really a sequel, it's the second part of the movie....like there was a loooooong intermission between part 1 and part 2.
"LittleMissLikesToFight agrees: lmao as a big gamer i find that soooo funny... and its prob something i'd do too haha."

I'm a big gamer too, that's what makes it so bad!

also, i hate FF and am now considering getting a different one, i supposed that makes me a moron too?

Fair enough. My original point still stands though. Why would I watch the second part of a movie if I didn't like the first part?

Sure, I get that and you're right. I was just pointing out the misconception that Vol. 2 is a sequel.
