I'm back

Major surgery - total of 7 disks in my spine were either replaced or shaved and reshaped. Much healing, much medicine - much RL.

But it's good to be back.

The surgery was well worth the pain - I feel better now than I have in years! Thanks Taake!

Good to have you back. Obviously, the rumors of your assassination by the Bangels was greatly exaggerated.

But, seriously, recovering from even the most minor surgical procedure is never easy. Just look forward to the end result.

There was a Bangel nurse in the hospital, but she never once picked up a pillow to hold it over my face. In fact she brought me extra popsicles.

Surgery sucks - that was my 3rd for the year - had two heart surgeries in the spring. But they were all really worth it - I do feel amazingly better.
