I'm confused...

So my hubby showed me this trailer on YouTube yesterday and I was sooooooo excited!!

But then I checked IMDB and found this:

I didn't realize the trailer was a fan-made til after I did some research... Turns out that Nathan saw the trailer and endorsed it, 'cause even he was impressed. 🙂

Still confused? There are some really good fan made trailers out there. Not always easy to see that it's fake. If you'd watched Firefly you'd recognised some scenes though. 😉 And there are from some movies as well, not surprising.


edit: Oh. Ryan Reynolds in the real one. I like him.

Ah, I've seen this! My boyfriend is a huge Green Lantern fan so I never hear the end of it.

Some fan made videos look so official, right? 😛

Yeah after I researched it I saw that they had spliced together scenes from a lot of different stuff and I read that they used some scenes from Firefly and Serenity. I thought "Oh, that makes sense then."
I'm highly impressed. This dude did a kick-ass job on that trailer! And I do think Nathan would be a killer Green Lantern. 🙂

Wow! That's one of the best-made fan trailers I've ever seen. I recognized scenes from Firefly/Serenity, and from Star Trek 2009. A lot of the voiceover is from Lord of the Rings, too. The way the maker mixed them was really clever.
