OK, I know that every so often I come on saying how a new musical personality has got me 'bumpin to the beat', look at Sandi Thom with 'I wish I was a Punk Rocker', well its happened again.

First and foremost, i'd like to point out, when I first heard this woman, I hated her, but after being forced to listen to her album like 3 times in a row, she has finally gone into the 'adore' pile and now, I want her.

I even find her attractive and thats with the square jaw.
Of course i'm talking about Amy Winehouse.
Now, first i'm gonna show you a reason to hate her.

Thats Winehouse(the incomprehensible one) with Charlotte Church(Note: Church has great norks🙂 ).
This is a terrible cover of a Jackson great.
HER ONLY SAVING GRACE...she was pissed out of her head while performing this.

BUT here is the song that at the moment is my absolute favourite. I just cannot listen to this song enough. The video is great, the music is brilliant, the lyrics are fantastic and she looks hott.

Winehouse's voice is irritating, but you can't hold it against her cause she is drunk...and Church certainly can't hold it against her!!!!

someone must hate you to have forced you to listen to that until you were so confused you convinced yourself that you must like it....cause my god her voice is annoying and she really is very manly, but I mean if you are into that-that's your business.
It's not the worst thing that I have ever heard, well beat it kind of is, with the exception of Church. I kept waiting for her to hit the manly woman or for the manly woman to fall down...i was disappointed.
The Rehab song I could listen to again cause I like jazzy music, but I agree, it's not an ipod song, because while I would listen to it again, I don't really feel the pressing need to do so. And while the actual words of F me pumps were amusing, her voice was nasal-y and annoying to the point where I almost stopped listening.

I was with you on the whole Sandi Thom thing, but you lost me on this one. I still don't understand why someone so head-strong and opinionated would willingly subject themselves, even if "forced" to listen to that crap over and over...

You know there's some irony to the video of Charlotte Church dancing being called 'beat it'.. I'll bet a few people have while watching it.

I say dancing.. no doubt that's what she calls it, I'd call it foreplay.

I actually listened to this a couple more time to see if it would grow on me, and suprisingly it did! I found myself humming it today, and I kinda like that other song, but I You Tubed some of her other stuff and don't really like it.

But I think the music is great in Rehab, and I really disagree with people that say she sounds like a man, there were a few in YT, I don't think she sounds like a man at all!

dude - i dont really like her stuff but one thing in this world that is important is variety and having an open mind. i dont wanna live in a world where we are all the same and we fit into neat steriotypes...

eg - im classed as goth by my mates yet i can wear colour and normal clothes and i listen to robbie and xtina and rat pack aswell as goth and 80's rock....
