imagine if when they were in the hellmouth at the end of chosen, if buffy had grabbed hold of spike and both of their essences went into the amulet and they both ended up in wolfram and hart?
 
I don't think Buffy would have gone into the amulet. Since she didn't burn up in the sunlight, Spike would turn to dust and have the amulet capture his essence while Buffy would be buried under the Hellmouth.
 
Lol, surely a funny picture. Just imagine Angel saying 'I knew there was more going on between you two' or 'I told you not t wear the amulet!' or even 'don't tell me you're done baking yet!' :lmao:
 
you can imagine the chaos they would have had. spike and angel would be fighting over buffy while buffy would be stuck on choosing which one she loved more.
 
Don't forget Harmony mixing in 😉 Remember how shocked she was Spike actually got it on with Buffy?
Also, I don't think Buffy would chose anyone under these circumstances. She made it pretty clear she's not ready to chose yet, and well, not being corporeal and not able to touch any of her favourite vampires is probably not making the choice any easier.
