Hey all - I noticed a bunch of bounced emails and some others in my email account that appear to have been sent from buffy-boards.com. However, we did not send them.
One I noticed was from jack@buffy-boards.com, a lot of the subjects seemed to be Hi or Test.
Anything sent from the boards to you all would come from buffysummers@buffy-boards.com or faith@buffy-boards.com most likely, and we do not have the option to send attachments in our emails.
So the long and short of it is, if you get something that appears iffy from us and it has an attachment, best to just delete it.
This is not an usual thing to have happen, and since the folks at vbulletin posted about it (and understand it better than I do) I thought I would post their explanation of it:
So that goes the same for buffy-boards 🙂
This might be the most confusing post I've ever written - sorry!

Emails, Spam, Worms, whatever.
During the last two days, i'm getting a lot of emails, containing viruses, or the other way round, some are sending a mail at vbulletin.org claiming, we are infected.
Most of the time those answers are to email accounts like john, anna, hacks, support or sometihng like this @vb.org.
We want to inform you, that none of these account really exists, it's just someone manipulating the header, to claim they are someone at vbulletin.org.
So that goes the same for buffy-boards 🙂
