Confirmation from an inside source at Sky Tv :

"Sky offered to pick up part of the production costs for a new series of Angel, and all they needed was another network to do the same and it would carry on."

I doubt that their offer will make the WB change their mind. That was so great of them to do that though! The 6 tv movies are looking like a very good bet right now, so I don't think that Angel will ever come back as a television series.

yay! even though our efforts may not have saved the series, at least they know that the are enough fans and viewers to support the tv movies.

I won't hold my breath, I know what they are like! I worked for them for 2 years. But you never know they might just pull it off.
