Say a prayer.

A prayer for those that lost their lives 5 years ago. unexpectedly....

A prayer for those that gave their lives willingly aboard an airplane...

A prayer for those that lost their lives while trying to rescue others....

A prayer for those that lost family and friends that day....

Say a prayer....for all of us.

May we never forget.....never become complacent again.

Amen

A special thank you to Bored Of The Dead for his 9/11 threads, and to all who contributed their banners (all of them outstanding), and their thoughts to the memory of this day.

Wonderful words that you have written that helps to heal the wound in my heart and soul...thankyou
I agree. We were talking about this (and other terrible things that happened on this day, in history).. And no one could believe it had been five years...

i agree with everyone here its so hard to believe its been 5 years! I mean it seems like just last month still its so fresh in my memory... My prayers still go out to all the families who lost someone that day...🙁

i heard the special they had on ABC last night was really good. i didnt catch any of it though

I can't believe it's been five years either. I remember I had woken up and my mom was watching TV. She told me that the Twin Towers weren't there anymore. I didn't know what she meant until I saw the TV screen. I felt terrible for all those people that died. I rented the United 93 movie and I'm about to watch it.

I saw FLight 93 on A&E a last year...it was sad...and actually we were talking about that movie this morning, my friends and i, and it seemed weird that people didnt think "oh hey there are a bunch of people putting red rope around their heads, that seems a bit odd" I mean, if i saw a bunch of people in a plane all of a sudden start tieing a red string/rope/whatever around their head i would think something was up. But i guess thats just 20/20 hindsight...i dont know...

My thoughts exactly Om.

I still can't believe it has been this long and my thoughs and Prayers go out to those who lost loved ones and were just effected by it.

Damn...five years already. It's barely felt like one. On the subject of 9/11 related movies, is anyone going to see World Trade Centre? Looks good. Also, fantastic words by OM, and also well done to all the 9/11 banner makers. You're all brilliant.

Is it the one with Nicholas Cage in it?

Yes. Thats the one with Nick Cage. My friend saw it and she cried, and it takes a LOT for her to cry in movies so im betting it was good.
