I have a question for you guys. How much of the things that go on in the Buffyverse do you think go on in the real world??
Do you guys believe there are really Vampires/Demons/Ghosts??
How about magic? Who believes in or practises magic??
Also the PTB, and the different dimensions??
 
SAME!! the dimensions thing i think is 100% true!!! How about everything here being run by higher powers (The PTB) or in many people's P.O.V: God.
 
I definitely believe in all those things. I know a few people who practice Wicca, and the whole dimensions thing makes a whole lotta sense!
 
yeh, i also wonder about past lives and things like that... all this supernatural/paranormal stuff can give you a headache.. its always 'how' and 'why'... you know?

i believe in all that stuff too majorly... i mean i'm very into the spirtual stuff you know i believe in all of that i have friends who practice wicca and all that i've even sat with them its actually very spirtual and cleansing... or at least what i've sat in on.
 
Demons, Ghosts, magic, PTB and dimensions I believe in.

Vampires and Werewolfs I'm not so sure on. I think there's a possibility, and I like to think they're real, but there's not enough hard evidence to be sure.

I do not believe in all of the above. Im a realist when it comes to these things. As a matter of fact I do not believe in god.
Nevertheless Im fascinated by it. Im interested in all things other people believe in even though I dont.
 
i believe in ghosts...it's hard not to when you live with one! yep, i have a ghost. his name is Ben, and he's been in our house longer than we have, so it's not really fair that we should send him packing. at first he just messed with us, me and my brother and sister, you know, moving things around, hiding things, but lately, like the past year or so, he's moved onto messing with my dad. my dad was home alone one day, when he heard every single door in our house slam closed, then open again...he had to run around the house and close them all, 'cause it was winter! lol, he definitely believes us now!
alternate dimensions i'm not too sure about. i believe there's a possiblity, but without hard evidence i'll keep an open mind.
witches i do believe in, i know a few practising Wiccas. psychic ability i believe in too, being slightly psychic myself. it kinda runs in our family, but i am nowhere near powerful enough to use it for anything positive or to do any good...it sorta sneaks up on you, creeps you out a little, then fades away for a while.
not so sure about the whole vampires and werewolves...like i said without hard evidence, i can't form a theory...i'll just wait and see!

I am at best, GREATLY skeptical. AT worst... well we all know what I'm like at my worst...

I don't believe in Vampires/Demons/Ghosts because I have never witnessed one piece of evidence to back up the idea that these things exist.

If you make a strange claim that these things exist, then the onus is on you to prove it, otherwise people will dismiss you as a whackjob.

Other dimensions, I have no idea, though I doubt it.

Psychic ability I have not really witnessed, though I have been accused of being psychic in the past. Contrary to popular opinion, I don't read the very depths of your soul when I look at you.
 
I would offer up a big "NO" to each of those items.

There are no vampires.
There are no ghosts.
Magic may exist but not on a high level.
And the only place where you find multiple planes is at an airport. These different planes of existence don't exist. There is only one reality and it's this one (like it or not)
 
Well quantum physics supports multiple dimensions, so I don't think it should be entirely ruled out. I guess you could say they're all theories that have yet to be proven, it's just some of them cross over the absurd border and set up camp.
 
I always found those accounts of near-death, out-of-body experiences interesting to read about...no idea if it's all nonsense or not. Hallucinations, the brain shutting down...dunno.
 
I believe in some of this stuff. I believe in multiple planes such as heaven and hell but that's it. I also believe there are demons but not the kind we be seeing on Buffy. I also believe in witchcraft and out of body experiences.
 
You mean 'out of body' experiences like Cordy in 'Birthday' AtS S3 right?? I've read before that some people say dreaming is the same sort of thing, but I don't know if I should stick with science or the supernatural lol.. either way I do believe in it, I have a friend who claims to be able to leave this plane (as in the physical plane) and go places, but his body stays put lol..

Someone show me an "experience" that isn't a direct relation to your five senses.

And then explain how "out of body" experience is possible.
