I just read Destructo Girl's entry...didn't wanna post until it was done in the thread, but I'm interested...a hooker/slayer! It had to happen, but it's still an interesting take nonetheless! Waiting for more!

Guys, let's remember to comment on the fiction posted thus far in this thread rather than cluttering the story thread 🙂

Yeah, I'm trying not to blow things up in my fic...I mean I'm really trying to avoid explosions, but they just keep writing themselves in! Bad explosions!

I'm truly amazed by the quality of N4H's story...this is why I voted for him in the Awards (finishing soon btw - plug, plug) And to think I had the nerve to criticise the title change of his Senior Partners piece 😉
That's not to put down the rest of the work, which is of a very high standard from everyone (including the experimental poetry piece😉) but WOW!! Great writing Mr Nerd - is it OK if I call you Mr?😛
 
Not to forget the others either...Kansasslayer and Tainted Hope both kept the level of writing up too, but hurry, KS, get going!!!!

EDIT: And of course Buffy's piece, but she's done, and I've already given her the props she deserves for it!

Actually, it really is all good. I've been genuinely surprised by the very high standard I've seen in TOTS so far. Kudos to everyone and big thanks to Corma for getting it organised...(mmm...Curry for dinner tomorrow🙂)...a career in publishing beckons...

Here you go Pointy, and thanks for hanging in there with me. As usual it's taking a little longer to tell the story than I originally thought it would.

The Chinese slayer from the Boxer Rebellion said, "Tell my mother I'm sorry..." in Fool For Love. I believe the books named her Xin Rong. (Oh and to our BB Xin Rong, thanks for the kind words)

Nikki Wood said, " Always got to work the mission." in Lies My Parents told me.

And of course Buffy said, "Hold the line." in Chosen.

It needn't be an excerpt, right? I mean, you can also just write a very short summary or something of the kind? Is there perhaps a (rough) limit to the number of words to use for this?
 
I'd say no more than what N4H has in his. Otherwise, it gets too big and looks awkward.

Exerpts/Summaries will do 🙂
 
Just read Mesektet Ra's opening post. I want to say it's very descriptive, and looks to be another stellar addition to the collection already here. Goth Chick as a Slayer, it sounds like...and the Raven/Nevermore title is evocative, to say the least!!

I was just rereading all of these, and I realized there isn't a weak one in the bunch. All the Slayers have definite personalities, and everyone has done a great job of getting them across. The side-players have been entertaining as well. To all, well done. To those with unfinished stories, get to it, I'm wanting to read them!***looks over at Cordy, Destructo Girl and KansasSlayer534***
 
Cordy's creative juices have hit a road block as Cordy is preoccupied with finding her ass a job 🙂
