I have been looking for this answer for years. The font for the subtitle "the vampire slayer" is different for both the opening titles scene on the actual episodes, and on the DVD covers/official merchandise themselves. They are two different fonts. I believe the one on the opening titles is the font called "Slayer." The font used on the DVDs that say "Season Four" and likewise is a font called "Mason."
Of course we all know there is that famous font called "Buffied" that replicates the style of lettering on the Buffy Logo, the part that actually says "Buffy", but what I am in search of is the part of that logo on the DVD covers that appears right underneath that and says "the vampire slayer" in lowercase lettering.
