When Spike sees Cordy he says something along the lines of, 'Cordelia, you look smashing'.
He says it as if they'd met before, I was thinking this over last night though. Have they actually met before this?

but her and willow hid in a closet before Spike saw them. shoot, now i'll be wondering about this all day.

Cordelia was also in the warehouse when Spike attacked and almost killed Buffy in Halloween just before Ethan Rayne's spell was broken.

They have met on previous occasions but never really spoken, I suppose, it's more than likely that they'll have met offscreen aswell.
But anyway, I noticed that too- LOL

Also, no doubt Spike has been the topic of many of the scoobies conversations at some point, so she probably knows him that way too.

Plus Spike was in Sunnydale the whole season of season 2. He could've been lurking around watching the whole group of Buffy and gang. He could've seen her, or at least known who she was. That's my guess.

Spike did capture Angel,Xander, and Cordelia at the warehouse in the episode Halloween.Knowing Spike,he had to notice Cordelia in the tight cat costume.

What about.....

That ep where Spike kidnaps Xander and Willow to make Willow do a spell so he can get Dru back? Didn't he see Cordy then, right before she fell on the rebar?

I see! I couldn't remember if he was still in the room with Willow and Xander when Cordy and Oz came in......thanks!

God, hearing you all talk about these old episodes, I don't even remember half of it... I guess I need to start rewatching the classics... hmm, maybe it's time for that DVD-set after all.

DVD Sets

I couldn't live without my DVDs! There are only a couple shows I watch regularly on TV, and since the new seasons haven't started yet, they aren't on. My Angel and Buffy DVDs keep me going till the new shows start. It helps that I'm obsessed, too!
