Hey it's my first post so here it goes.
In this episode Spike recognises Cordy immedietely when he see's her but him and her have never even met back in Sunnydale, never even shared a scene I don't think. Can anyone explain this?

I only remember one seance scene, that was in Angel, when Spike was being sought. I'd have liked more seances.

Well if someone could name a time in Buffy when they even spoke to each other that would be good but I'd have to say I don't think there is one.

i have to agree with SlayerGuy91 (welcome to the boards by the way) i don't think Cordelia and Spike ever shared a scene while they were both in Buffy (though correct me if i'm wrong)- She certainly knew of him and his menace - School Hard and Halloween for example - but they were never formally introduced. I love "IN the Dark" so make allowances for the discrepency by presuming that Spike got to know all the Scoobies, including Cordelia, by sight as he was stalking them and plotting ways to kill buffy🙂

A similar problem came up in Star Trek when Khan in "The Wrath Of Khan" recognised Chekov even though he wasn't on the show until the last season. The explanation there was that Chekov had, indeed, been on the Enterprise during the Khan episode, he just wasn't part of the regular bridge crew at that time, therefore the two met off camera. Using that as a guide, Spike asked Cordy to dance that first night in the Bronze when he was stalking Buffy. During the slow dance, introductions were made, and Spike accidently introduced himself as "William the Bloody, A.K.A. Spike, the vampire scourge of Europe, Asia, and North America. A couple of days later, when wondering why William hadn't called her, it finally dawned on her what "scourge" really meant.

In Halloween when Spike eventually caught uo with Buffy they were both on screen.

In School Hard when Spike and the 'wrinklies' invaded the school, as Buffy pushed the
? cleaners ? trolley, a vampire with a long coat and Dr Martins/army boots was knocked over the trolley. As Spike was the only vamp dressed like that it 'may' have been him so Cordy [off screen] may have met him although introductions probably weren't done.

Also as Spike said he wanted to know everything about the slayer and her friends, he would have known who Cordy was.

LMAO! That would have made a funny scene.
