Anyone have any info on this upcoming film?

It's on IMDB though I'd not heard about it.

If there's a thread on this site I can't find it.

Never heard of it and there's not much info on it either, thanks for letting me know that this movie is coming up though, I'm interesting in learning more about it! Anything that has Joss associated with it has to be good!

Is this the convention film?

No this is the fun he shot pretty soon after The Avengers came out. Jennifer Grey is in (Baby from Dirty Dancing... And Clark Clegg's wife.) As far as I remember from the info when it first was announced, it's about two people being inexplicably drawn to each other. Something about soulmates or something like that. There's supposed to be a supernatural element to it too.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/In_Your_Eyes_(2013_film) -- This is all the info that I can find on it. He wrote it and his wife produced it (Bellwether is their microbudget indie company, the same one that made Much Ado) -- but I'm really interested in finding out more and actually seeing this movie.

Kean, how much did he do with shooting it? He didn't direct it, and he's not even listed as one of the producers. We might not know until later, but I don't Joss did more than write and fund it.

When it was shooting there were pictures of him on set when they were shooting in New Hampshire. That would have been around this time last year, maybe a bit earlier.

You know, writing it is enough for me. Plus, if it is his company he is more involved than a lack of a production cred with suggest.

I really like the bare bones of the story, of two people sensing the other, thousands of miles away, even though they haven't met. That's my kind of film.

Okay, I was just going off the credits there. I hadn't seen any pictures or anything from the set before -- like I said, all I had seen was what was in the article I linked to.

And yeah, writing it is enough, assuming that he's giving it to people who can really work with what he writes -- given that it's his company, I'd think that would be the case. But I think we'll really know in the future after more information from it comes out, possibly after the movie comes out. At this point, I'm thinking that they might be having some difficulty getting distribution, since the movie seems to be finished, even post-production.

One of the articles I found said it had a one million dollar budget which (it feels weird writing this) is a tiny amount when it comes to film budgets. So you'd think it would be virtually guaranteed to make profit. Especially with Whedon's devoted fan base.

Yes, but they're probably exploring if anyone would want to give it any sort of theatrical or other type of release, or attempting to get it into film festivals, or similar. Sure, it'll probably make a profit no matter how they release it, but I can't imagine it would hurt to explore all the different options.

Every week or so I check this movie's imdb site for news, but there never is any.🙁 I guess it's gonna be in post-production for quite a while, like Cabin in the Woods.
They're probably looking for a studio to publish it. My guess is that it will be released at film festivals and conventions someday, and if it receives good reviews, it will find a production company to put it out.
