Incesant pop-ups

When I log in, I like that little box that pops up telling me that I have a new Pm. However, lately, it's been popping up incessantly. When I come in, I'll click the "OK" button, read my message and whatever, then it keeps popping up every few minnutes after that, with no new messages.

I know that the simple answer here would be to turn off the pop-up option, but I like the pop-up option, otherwise I forget to check....

Can anyone help me out with this?

Are you clicking the back button to return to the main page? If so, that would be reloading the page that still thinks there's new messages for you.

No, because when I bring up the box, it opens on it's separate pages, and other than that, whenever I go into a forum, I usually endup posting, so I can't use the back button..... It hasn't done it for a while now though. Maybe it's exhausted itself.

Well, it doesn't do that for me, unless I come to the main page, click yes to open my pm box in a new window, and then I go into a forum in the first window, and then click the back button on the browser to get back to the main page.

maybe you should click 'no' and then go to your cp and read the pm
