if you got a tat...what would it be??

if you got a tat...tell us about it and its meaning...
 
I have three Tattoos, a Chinese character for 'LOVE' on me right ankle...I got it with my best friend, she has the symbol for friendship......what it means to me- is me and my best friend are like 1 person so we got something to remind us of each other for the rest of our lives.
My other tattoo is a small butterfly right on my left hip bone....that was my first tattoo, I got it the day I turned 15, my dad was soooo mad my mom took me.
My second tat is on the small of my back....its a fairy on a rose blowing small dust particles and shes really pretty and colorful!!!
Im getting another one next week hopefully.....depends on my mom (she thinks that thats enough)
 
I want to get a tatoo... Have to wait 'till I'm eighteen because my parents are old fogies. Anyway, when I do, it will be something that I've designed. They look kind of like latin X's... I want three of them, relatively small and across my inner rist.

It is meaningful to me because the X like symbols all represent some part of my life. I want to always remember thoes things, and for them to be a part of me... Also, if I'm 40 years old and feel the need to cover it up, I want this 17 year old part of me to be really pissed off about it.
 
I'd wanna get one when Im older...but firstly, the pain...ouch...and secondly, if I showed my mom, she'd be all ''Ugh. Your scarred forever.'' and ''I made you...why you wanna go wreck my art?'' and she'd probably throw in a big ugly scowl...
If I had one, I'd be like Chinese/Japanese and I'd want it to say 'Emma' lol, but it might come out 'Noodles' and I'd never know...
 
I have a small black sun design at the center of my lower back. It doesn't mean anything, but you'd be suprised at the amount of people that ask me what it means. I got it for my 18th.

I've also got barb wire around my right ankle. I like it but its not very appropriate for some occasions and some times it looks a bit tacky. But. like I said, I like it!!

lol...la...your mom took you?...lol...that must've been some fight your mom and your dad had...i think the ones right by the hip are like the sexiest places to get a tat...every chick gets one on the small of there back...but right on the hip is great...

yo kindred...your parents just looking out for you...tatooing has risks...especially if you go to a swanky place or get a ****ty artish who got crap ass lines...gotta research a solid artist in clean environment...you'd be surprised the kind of bacteria you can get into your system..

lol...i don't have any ink yet...the main reason being that i haven't earned any art yet...i figure if i just get that barcode to start off with...it will be an empty gesture and the barcode will lose its meaning...i've gotta do something pretty damn cool for me to have earned the ink...the pain should be no probs...as long as its not as sore as setting broken bones...i'll be fine...lol...setting broken bones sucks ass!!...especially when the bones won't falkin pop...
 
I'd love Angels (as ive said before, and it works, my naming being Ash). However I'd get bored so I wouldn't do it.
 
I know a little Chinese and I can say that some of those tattooed words aren't the words you thought they were. Let's just say that a tattoo artist with a sense of humor isn't someone you want to pay to play with your skin.

For the record, I'm a bit too chicken to get tattooed.
 
I'm getting one soon i think withen 6 months not sure but i'm getting a black rose with blood dripping off the thorn and probley Sweets written under neith it...Its my nick name my ex gave me but a couple friends call me that too so...
 
If I ever get one, it'll be one I design myself, and it'll go on my hip or the back of my neck, depending on what it is I design.
 
I have no tats - I don't like 'em and too chicken (you know the whole needles/pain thing...)
My little brother said if he ever got one it would be the Jimmy Page symbol from Led Zeppelin 4 - looks like "Zoso" - which I thought was quite cool. He didn't get it done tho'

I have a fantasy dragon on my upper right arm. Every year on my birthday I treat myself to something....so this one year I decided I wanted a tattoo. The dragon doesn't really signify anything personal in my life, except that I love fantasy art and books, as well as movies.

I was going to get this Boris Vallejo fantasy demon design on my back.....but I still haven't found anyone good enough to do it exactly the way I want it.

And I just want to say to those of you that say you are afraid to get inked because of the pain.....well, I don't know what you've heard, but it's REALLY not that big of a deal. All it is is just a very dull sting, you can't really classify it as PAIN....lol.....you're not going to be in agony. After a while, you don't even feel the sting anymore.
 
I have 3 and thats my limit. They are all on my lower back. I have a pretty large chinese symbol for 'Faith' on the base of my spine, and to the right of that, lower down and smaller the symbol for 'Courage' and on the opposite side matching it up the symbol for 'Soul'. I wanted to get 'Justice' done but it was two symbols and would knock it off.

I was looking for a dragon tattoo. Kind of like this http://upl.mine.nu/uplfolders/upload9/fja97.jpg to go down my spine at the bottom of my back but at the time I couldn't find one I liked. And then I spotted the tattoo I've got now and I thought it would look good, so I got it.

I have 3 tats...the first one i got was when i was 17 its a small daisy on my right hip..i got a daisy because at the time i really liked drew barrymore being a wildchild and all and she was always wearing daisies at the time and they are really pretty..
The second one i got about 5 years ago is a bit like faith's in buffy except its a celtic design with the ying yang symbol in the middle..i got it before i started watching buffy so i didnt copy faith it was more around the time pamela anderson got her barb wire i think!! and i got it because a friend of mine got killed and so me and about 5 of my friends each got a tattoo to remember him we all got different one's though.
My third one is a rose with kinda like thorns around it going down the base of my spine...no reason for that one except that i had just split up with my fiance and wanted to celebrate so got it done..lol 😀
 
a rose winding up a back with its thorns pricking silk skin...no need for a meaning for that...i'm sure there's sub conscious reasons behind...maybe you felt like you were rebirthed...but that tat is falkin so poetic...

i think dragons are like the most tat animal ever...i think everyone got barbed wire cause of goldberg...cause there werent' alot of people rocking them before then...

my friend joked that he would get a tat of a wang winding down from his shoulder to his hand...so that he could squirt people with water from his hand and get a laugh out of it...lol...

lol...i might get a tat of me just spinning around with like fire in my hands...like a falkin whirling dervish...
