Did anyone notice the fact that Darla was wearing white and Cordy was wearing black, and Connor still picked Cordy? Heh. Well, actually it wasn't really Cordy, but still. I don't know. I thought it'd be kind of obvious. Perhaps it was just slight symbolism they wanted to insert in the episode.

Oh my god! Darla was in white, Cordy was in black, and Connor picked the dark one! How deep is that!
That Whedon guy is so clever...

It does seem obvious, but who knows what exactly was behind it.Nice notice.

Poor Conner really was a messed up kid. No matter how much the ghost of Darla tried to make him see that she wasn't lying to him and that Cordy was evil, he couldn't believe her because he was so lost. I think Cordy had this power over him because he had feelings for her. And because he had such a lonely and tramatic childhood and she had originally been the only one to really be nice to him (or so he said) he felt connected to her.

During that scene, I really thought he was going to listen to his mother. When he didn't it was sad. He really had fallen into a place that, frankly, I don't think he ever got out of.
