Fair is fair guys, we got the first 2 pretty quickly.

Crazy Flakes and Summers Blood found Merrick and Raiden no problem but it took absolutely AGES to find Drogyn, you pesky fools🙂

Thank Gosh we have the tenacious Gategod (I bet no one thought there would be anyone on this board PRAISING GG) was on our side🙂

Well, let it be known that if Raiden's could've been in it's original hiding space (darn rules and me not understanding how to read!), you all would've been searching for it for ages. We had that sucker good and buried!

Raiden did find one donkey. We found Merrick's donkey. It was the highlight of our day, let me tell you. Much celebrating!

I want to clear something up that we learned.

Apparently you can search using the last edited post thing.
If that is the case then how does that make this kind of game fair?

I knwo its not in the rules but even if it was, how can you police that?

Now, we at VH didn't search like this, had we done so we wouldn't have had such a hard time looking for Drogyns Donkey, but as far as the other houses go, I think that it shouldn't be allowed.

Please note though, we didn't search like this, so whomever did, all I can say is 'HA HA'.
 
I searched by putting "last edited by Black Eye Guy" into the search function on my browser and hitting "find next" every time I opened a thread. I still had to open EVERY SINGLE thread; there's no way to search this way using the forum's search function. Also, none of the cool little cheaty search features on Google helped this at all. So I don't think that there's really a way to cheat or speed things up; the browser search only keeps you from having to scroll down through every page, it doesn't take you directly to the donkey.

Karma for a very smart idea..... and for at least having to go through every single thread! Lol that's still a feat!
It hadn't even occurred to me that you would be able to search for threads I had edited.

It wasn't against the rules so can someone confirm that it actually works? From doing tests ourselves I couldn't see it working?

If we play this game in the future we'll just have it so no one knows who's hiding the donkeys, so no biggie! 🙂

Also the prefects have discussed how each house searched for the donkeys so I know VH found their Donkeys they weren't using the search function, just old fashioned "hand by hand" searching!
 
It's not possible to search for threads edited by a certain person, only to search on a certain page for the text "last edited by." Trust me, I tried all the dirty tricks. None of them work.
 
The cheating tactics i tried didn't work either, you have a pretty uncheatable game here =]
