I'm not 100% if this one is true or just an urban myth, but I have heard that in Australia it is legal to sleep with a kangaroo provided you can prove you were drunk at the time. 😀

I got this fact in the mail, and it says its true, but I don't believe it.

On the glue of the envelope is where cockroaches lay their eggs. And it also said that this person had a swollen tongue and when she went for surgery and they cut it open, all these baby cockroaches came out. Ewwwww!

I know, I read it in a book on weird laws; didn't help two of my mates had boyfriends travelling to Australia on gap years 😀 😀 I think there is also a law that if you find an outsider within the walls of Chelsea after midnight, it is perfectly legal to shoot them with a bow and arrow. I love all the strange laws we have in England 😀 The problem is when someone tried to enforce them 😀

In Ohio it's illegal to blow your nose in public

it's illegal to tie your giraffe to a light post in georgia.

Some of these are pretty interesting, however some are just plain disturbing. Thanks for posting them. 🙂 Here are a few more:

A crocodile can't stick it's tongue out.

A shrimp's heart is in their head.

People say "Bless you" when you sneeze because when you sneeze, your heart stops for a millisecond.

It is physically impossible for pigs to look up into the sky.

In average, a human being will have sex more than 3,000 times and spend two weeks kissing in their lifetime.

If you sneeze too hard, you can fracture a rib. If you try to suppress a sneeze, you can rupture a blood vessel in your head or neck and die. if you keep your eyes open by force, they can pop out.

Rats multiply so quickly that in 18 months, two rats could have over million descendants.

Wearing headphones for just an hour will increase the bacteria in your ear by 700 times.

If the government has no knowledge of aliens, then why does Title 14, Section 1211 of the Code of Federal Regulations, implemented on July 16, 1969, make it illegal for U.S. citizens to have any contact with extraterrestrials or their vehicles?

In every episode of Seinfeld there is a Superman somewhere.

The cigarette lighter was invented before the match.

Thirty-five percent of the people who use personal ads for dating are already married.

A duck's quack doesn't echo, and no one knows why.

Most lipstick contains fish scales.

Cat's urine glows under a black-light.

Like fingerprints, everyone's tongue print is different.

Over 75% of people who read this will try to lick their elbow. Did you?

flammable--i actually tried licking my elbow after the first one to try and prove it wrong and i can come very close......3 and a half inches away, but i cant do it.....then when i read the last one it was so scary....it was like your could read my mind before i posted this and you knew exactly what i was going to do.

about the rats and horses cant vomit......i dunno about rats, but that's true about horses....they dont have the muscles in their esophogus to vomit. so therefore, whatever they eat they must completely digest and if they dont digest it then the food will get trapped in their stomach or wherever and the horse will die.....very sad.....most horses die like that....it's not uncommon.

Okay, that is wack! I swear, I did try to lick my elbow when I read that one. It's not even funny. I'd like to know who didn't try.😛

In Illinois it is illegal to pee in your neighbor's mouth. I sweat it is! you can even look it up if u dont believe me! now why someone would want to do that in the first place i dont know and probably dont want to know.....that's just nasty.

I just checked out that website, www.dumblaws.com , after I heard about it on TV. It is so interesting. I found out that in New York, NY "Women may go topless in public, providing it is not being used as a business. ", but "It is illegal for a woman to be on the street wearing 'body hugging clothing.' " 😕
Why can woman go around topless, but can't wear "body hugging clothing."?

Aint the longest word in the english language antidisestablishmentairianism... something like that anyway!

That cockaroach story is real..gross. lol.

And the topless thing in NY is legal. I see it all the time on beaches.
