I haven't seen a lot of Supernatural or Harry Potter (I know, I know, I should watch them) so I add two of my own:

Bob from the Dresden Files
Assistant Director Skinner from the X-files

Now this would be an interesting show! My team is rather thought heavy I think, which means they would probably seek an intelligent and possibly less confrontational solution to the problem
