Etty Hillesum. She was killed at Auschwitz in 1943, but her diaries show us not only her immense inner strenght, her admirable spirit, and pre-occupation her relatable life as a young woman coming into her own and navigating love, mental health, and work, but also that the world lost what would've been an amazing and inspiring author. She's underrated even as it is. Her capability for grace and forgiveness are truly inspiring.
