To cut a slightly longer story short, I was having connection trouble the other day. As a consequence of my complete lack of understanding of all things internetsy, I changed the size of internet explorer page that opens up. It opens up really small, its annoying, how do I change it back to open up a full screen?

The answer I'm sure will expose my complete and utter stupidity.

You know how you click the Maximize to Minimize icon on the top right of the browser? Are you saying it always opens up Minimized (like half a browser), or are you saying the browser is full, but everything on it seems smaller.

If the latter is the case you can try right-clicking an empty spot on your desktop then selecting properties. If you use XP click the settings tab, then change the screen resolution.

If the problem is the browser always opens minimized, you'll need an IE guy to help you with that. I don't use that browser much. I think what you would do there though, is click "View" on the IE toolbar, then off that as I recall there's a settings tab of some sort. I forget what it's called, but it allows you to reset the settings for Explorer pages.

Personally I'd advise you to try a different browser. That's the easy solution to Internet Explorer problems. There's Firefox and Opera-free. They both kick IE's ass in the security department. They're less buggy, and once you get used to either one of them you'll never want to use IE again.

Avant runs over the IE engine though, doesn't it? Wouldn't it receive the same commands on how to open as IE does?
