Interview with a Vampire: Book Read

What interest would there be in doing a group read of Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire?
I'll come up with a plan and questions, after we see what sort of timescale people would like.

I think I have only seen the film and at the moment I am struggling to find a book that is capturing my attention. Perhaps changing genres a lot would help. So, I would be willing to give it a go.

I read the first few pages on a pdf. It is a very interesting read. I like how the boy is generally curious about the vampire's background.
I think they will get along well and become friends. Perhaps he will turn the boy into a vampire like him later in the novel.

If we have a lot of interest, we can give it a couple of weeks for everyone to get the books and then start it.

What about starting it on 11th March? Would that be enough time to get the book for people?

Update! I thought I had a copy but I just looked though my bookcase and I don’t have it! I must have lent it to someone…Regardless, I can get it at the library! So I’m good to go to start on the 11th.

Also! I noticed they have the television series that came out last year too. After reading the book, it may be interesting to watch that as well as discuss it?

Yeah I was just came here to say this. A "book" club for shows besides the Whedonverse would be cool to do.

I'm useless at keeping up with books but if there was an episode of tv a week up for discussion, that I could do.

As people read at different speeds, there's no schedule as such for this, also as I don't wish to clutter The Bronze with threads, there will be a few mid point questions, then a final discussion thread.
