I was wondering if there would be interest in continuing to read this series, after IwtV is done, moving onto The Vampire Lestat.

I have found my copy of the book! In the very first place I looked; I thought I might have to search quite a few places for it.

It is quite a bit longer than IwtV.

I'd love to re-read Lestat! It's a great book! Would have made an awesome movie. Would love if they made it now if they followed the book. Would be such an epic movie.

I could never understand why they skipped Lestat, and instead made that terrible movie of The Queen of the Damned, which did not follow the book at all.

Money. That's what I always assumed. Doing Vampire Lestat would be like a Lawrence of Arabia or something. Just the different locations and scenes. But man, if they followed the book and did the movie right it would really transcend the vampire genre.
