As far as I've heard "Ripper" has just recently been put in the development stage, but a decent script is still needed.

Am I the only one who doesn't find the idea of a show about Giles to be terribly interesting?

Strange concept I know, but the title of the TV film is Ripper. That would indicate to me it is about Ripper and not the exploits of the character Giles.
And how can you not find the idea of the show ' terribly interesting ' when the show hasn't been released yet?
