i just watched this ep... do anyone of you have any thoughts on this ep?

i find reily to be very senceable in this one, they gave him a worthy ep! a sad(for him) ep, but still. he got to say all that he wanted to say.

Xander is great in this one!! i love the way he talks some sence into Buffy near the end, after she has Killed the whole vamp gang... that is such a great thing about xanders character, he is the abit goofy friend, who also has a strong side, and he is a great friend...

Buffy in this one sorta annoyed me.. i REAllY REALLY get that she is sad!!🙂() and i get that she is angry and she has all right to be, but i get annoyed and a bit impatient(sp?) with her, in my mind, she might be going to far... (don't mean to offend anyone by saying that!!!)

this ep(even though i've seen it before and didn't see all that i see now...) makes reily les of a bad in my mind.. i finally puzzeled his problem and him together... seeing why he is like he is(i haven't always talked so warmly about this character... but after seeing it now) but i'm glad it ended here, cause buffy and reily was far apart... it would be hard to push them back together.. it would be better to let him go, like they did...

so what do you guys think?

I didnt like this episode (besides from the power speeches from Xander, the one to Buffy and the one to Anya). Im not a fan of either Spike or Riley so there was little entertainment in this episode for me. And I cant understand why Buffy ran to say that they could work it out in the end... I mean, she didnt love him...

The Anya scene from Into the Woods is one of my many, many favourite Anya moments....

You can tell by my email addresses, newlyhuman@yahoo.co.uk and Strangely_Literal@hotmail.com

I hated the Xander/Buffy speech thinger...I dont know why, it just seemed Xander lost his cool and geeky side from this moment on...

And then he did the boring speeches...

The only speech I liked was Dawn, in Potential...which...made me cry, lol...

Ive gone, waaaaay off topic here...

Anyway...yeah...

I wanted Riley to see Buffy...and...Ive always wondered did he actually hear Buffy when he was in the helicopter, and chose not to acknowledge her? Cuz when we see the shot from Riley in the chopper, you can really hear Buffy clearly...

lee: that is a good point! about reily and buffy inthe end... i'm in the prosses of watching s5 at the moment, and i notuiced that as well, that you can hear her just fine... so i think you might be on to something here.

Eowyn: i thought reily was okay, but it was, well buffy and reily was sorta growing boring, there was nothing there. she might as well let him go.. and spike in this season, he can be really okay, then he goes on that whole in love with buffy obsetion, and he get's all wierd, and i feel really imbarresed(sp?🙂), like in one of the eps after this one, where he is in the kitchen talking to dawn and joyce, and he says to joyce that he wants to talk to her eldest, he says it all strangely... LOL 🙂(sorry if i offended anyone by saying bad things about spike 😉 i mean well and i don't dislike spike!! 🙂)

This isn't one of my favorite episodes. Rileys vamp feeding binges, and his eventual leaving disturbed me.In my opinion Buffy did love Riley. She was so self-involved during this season and she took Riley for granted. Xander just played the little birdie that showed her the way home. The birdie just flew in a little late. But after giving it some thought I think it was time for them to move on. Theres no point in milking a sick cow. You just get curdled milk.

Yeah, I think Riley was just hurt by Buffy too much to try the relationship again or something... So MAYBE that's why he didn't want to look at Buffy.

Yes... cow... MILK!

Hey... why didn't Buffy throw a rock at him or something if she thought he couldn't hear her. Or threw her shoe, she's strong enough to get it that high.

I love the fact that Riley leaves.. But of course I wanted him to see her when he was in the helicopter.. Just because I felt so sorry for Buffy. I love it when Xander has those speeches, he does that from time to time, (Seeing Red, Grave, Potential, and many more) tells people what they really need to hear, not cause he's really smart, but becuase he has a lot of feelings and knows the person he's talking to.. Knows what she needs.

what i hated about that show was that he gave her a chocie to make and she wasnt going to make one and thats good cause she doesnt have to make one and hes the one who got bit and decide to do it and its his fault and he needs to take reosblie for it
