Great thread 🙂 Its been good to read about everyone!

I dont have much to write really, my name is Gem, I am 26, I love animals, especially horses and dogs. I have a buckskin pony called Phoebe and I teach disabled people to horse ride as my work. I've been watching Buffy on and off since I was about 12, but didnt get into Angel until much later. I usually live in a shed with crappy internet but currently I am staying with my mum so I am really enjoying being able to explore online. I love chatting in IRC or on facebook and I am on it most days (especially at the moment as I am on holidays from work). I've been on the boards for a couple of years, and it is still the best Buffy forum I have come across.

OOoo well erm I don't really know what to put but here goes!!

I'm Nix (obviously) or Nikki. And no I am not a Nicola 😛 I'm nearly 39 omg way to close to 40!! I'm a single mum of a 5 year old daughter who is my world. I am also Bipolar which makes life a little interesting! I love other countries and have travelled within Europe a bit, from Spain (parents live there) to living in Ibiza for 6 months and France for a month. I used to be in the wine industry as a wine merchants manager for 10 years, mainly selling French wines. I love listening to foreign accents.

I love BTVS and Angel from when they first aired. I am also a big fan of most tv series from Charmed to Warehouse 13. My music taste is mainly rock from NiN to Goo Goo Dolls but I do like a little classical and a little pop. I am currently on a weightwatchers diet as I have a whole person in weight to loose to become healthy again which depresses me a lot. I am an on and off smoker as I find it hard to stay stopped. I love buffy-boards and have done for a while now lol. I love the friends I have made here and the acceptance that I find here.

I don't post very often as I find I type out a reply to a thread then change my mind and leave a karma comment instead so my post count is low compared to the years I have been around here. I can be found lurking around the boards and in chat if you want to know more just ask me I don't bite (well most of the time lol).

Oh, I love this! I mean the getting to know you all part. Trying to explain myself is a bit harder. I tend to be pretty stumbly and fumbly with words. Words are hard. ;-)

I'm abby. I'm pretty much run on emotion almost entirely and I'm pretty prone to (over?)excitability. I love it here a lot. a lot a lot a lot.

My favorite characters on buffy are buffy, spike, cordy, anya, giles, dawn, willow, tara, oz, and xander.... but I love pretty much everyone - yes even kennedy. 🙂

My favorite characters on angel are angel (love him so much more here!), wes, gunn, cordy, gwen, fred, illyria, connor (love love love love love him!) lorne and harmony.... yeah I guess I have a lot of favorites

I love talking to people and finding connections and I LOVE talking all things buffyworld.

hmmm..... I like food. I'm pretty much snacking on something at all times.... my main sources though seem to be sugar and caffeine. 🙂

I don't like being cold. Oh, I live in boston, so I'll likely be talking about that a lot these next few months.

Um, I'm always looking up at the sky, which leads me to walk into things sometimes. 🙂

and my favorite color is blue.

You know it when you have so much to say but when it's time to say it you forget everything? But I'll try!

Okay, I'm Daphne, 26 in less than 3 weeks and almost cry about not being 16 anymore. Issues.
I've been a Buffy fan since Becoming first aired. I've been watching since the first episode, but became a true fan after Becoming, many tears included. A big part of my fanning is being a proud Spuffy, and I really enjoy all the Spuffy/Bangel wars, it's so much fun!

I'm also a big Survivor fan. I don't like many reality shows, but Survivor is something that has really gotten into me in the past few years.

I sew for a living, freelance, suck at Math so I won't be doing that anytime soon. My biggest hobbie right now is Photoshop, and I'm obsessed with purple. So every time someone buys me a present, it's purple. My mom bought me a snack once, which comes in different flavours and didn't even read what flavour it was, she chose that one only because it was purple. Blah.

I like reading all your 'introductions'! It's interesting to get to know a bit more about you all. I'm not really good at talking about myself, but I'll try.
My name is Sacha and I'm a 16 year old girl. I live in The Netherlands. I started watching Buffy a little more than half a year ago, and I've seen it almost five times now. I tend to get a bit obsessed with things. Apart from Buffy, I'm also a really big fan of Harry Potter and Glee.

I'm in High School , in 5th grade (out of six) and I hope to go to university in about a year and a half. I'm almost certain than I want to study Liberal Arts and Sciences. I do know that I want to study in English, because I like that language more than I do my own (Dutch) and because I want to have more opportunities to get out of this small country. I don't hate it here, but I'd love to see more of the world. Right now I'm just doing my best in school, so that I hopefully get selected for a Liberal arts and Sciences study in a city I want to.

I can be a bit of an awkward person and I find it hard to make new friends. I do have friends, but I rarely see them outside of school. I feel alone sometimes, but it's okay, I can live with it. I'm slightly addicted to the internet and I'm always around on various boards or tumblr. I also like to read books, although I don't have that much time for it anymore.

As for Buffy; I'm a Spuffy shipper, although I think it's a tie with Spangel - I just can't decide which pairing I like more. I also really like Tillow.

I'm Taake, often called Bob or Marbles (my nephews call me Snow White, not sure why, they just got it into their heads a while back), I was gonna say that I'm a bit of a flake but I'm gonna go with searcher instead, sounds better 🙂
After high school my mentor/teacher almost convinced me to start studying diplomacy but instead I colored my hair green, took up kick boxing and started to do some alternative modelling. Spent a few years couch surfing and just travelling around the world and partying... wow that got old fast. So I became a make up artist, nothing changed. So I studied journalism.... boo, not curious enough. So I became a personal trainer and was content with that for a while. Now I've tossed that to the side and I'm at a Bikram yoga studio instead focusing on inner health instead which I'm enjoying a lot.

I change my hair so often my family members rarely recognize me, I have a brother I've raised and have partial custody of and I love him more than life, I read a lot and I'm very artsy. I love making things - sewing, painting, knitting, writing... I love it all. I'm not that social though but I've got some great friends I love seeing and three nutty sisters who keep me busy.

Hi! I'm Claire, I'm 20 years old and I live in the UK.

I'm a very happy person, it's really hard for anyone to put me in a bad mood, and I consider myself to be polite as well. I'm an opinionated person and have no trouble saying what I feel, but I make sure I do it in the least offensive way possible!

I'm training to be a teacher and love working with children, it's so much fun! I've worked with everything from children who don't speak English to sixteen year old children who have broken the law.

My mantra is generally: do unto others as you would have them do unto yourself.

I've loved Buffy since it was on TV, but I'm much more obsessive now I can talk about it with you guys!

I'm Brittany, or Britt to my friends. I'm 29 (almost 30!) and this year I will celebrate 10 years of marriage to my best friend and soul mate, who makes me proud as a solider in the US Army. We have two daughters who are the loves of our life, and 1 furbaby named Eleanore, whose wrinkly little bulldog face makes me fall in love with her every day. 🙂
I currently have an associate's degree in web graphic design, and I'm studying now to get my bachelor's, and when I get it that will be one of the proudest days of my life. Until then, I work as a freelance graphic designer and thoroughly enjoy working on my personal art site, All Night Noise.
I have loved Buffy almost since the beginning... I was completely infatuated and hooked on the show beginning in the second season, and my room in high school was literally wallpapered with Buffy posters and magazine clippings. 🙂 I found BB in 2008 during a rewatch and have been here ever since. A few random facts you might like to know:
*I originally went to college out of high school on a full-ride vocal performance scholarship.
*When I was born I had a twin who died at birth.
*I cannot stand to watch people eat; it grosses me out.

It's a sub-genre of science fiction, fantasy, alternate history, and speculative fiction that became popular in the 1980s and early 1990s. It's takes place in a world where steam power is still widely used (usually Victorian era Britain or "Wild West"-era United States) and incorporates elements of either science fiction or fantasy. It often features anachronistic technology, or it portrays the world as Victorians might have envisioned them, based on a Victorian perspective on fashion, culture, architectural style, art, etc. In other words, it's how people in the 19th century might have envisioned the future. Kind of like The Jetsons or 2001: A Space Odyssey (those things aren't steampunk...they're just examples of anachronistic science fiction) ...and I am a total dork 🙂

I studied english and theatre in college, which I loved, but am thinking about going to grad school for counseling.

I spend most of my days working with animals at a General Practice vet. I just graduated from school as a vet tech and am still studying for my boards. Yikes! 😱 I love all animals and have been vegan for around 10 years!

I live in beautiful Santa Cruz where the redwoods and the sea meet and you'll find all kinds of people. But I love going up to San Fran for ever fun dancing and wild people! I live with awesome roomies and all their animals! 2 dogs name Charlie and a little rascally kitty, Bowie (named for his different colored eyes). I love to go to the beach or hike in the forest, hang with my lovely ladies, have a beer at the Brewery, watch movies, geek out on the internet, and generally try to have as much fun as possible! 😀

I apologize if this gets rambly, it'll warm my heart if you read it all but I believe that may be expecting too much. Like [MENTION=10363]zobothehobo[/MENTION] and [MENTION=11012]LoveLoveLovix[/MENTION] I like to talk, especially about myself. Does that make me concieted? I don't believe so.

My name is Savannah, 16 years old, I live in a small country called New Zealand and it's actually really pretty here. I always dreamed of being somewhere bigger, with more...I don't know...just more. It's so small here and we're so underestimated. It was a truly prideful thing when the entire country came together to support our Rugby team for the Rugby World Cup this year which we won. I am proud of my country. We are a mix of American and British with our own flair added in and I promise you'll never meet anyone like us. Our accent is cute, or so many have told me and I do love living here despite my younger self's dreams of living in the good ol' USA.

I am artsy and admittedly crazy. Many say I have artistic talent though I don't believe them. I gave up on drawing when I was about thirteen because of school restrictions and not being allowed to do as I pleased. When it comes to art I prefer to have free reign over what I do with my pencils and paper. Plus, I drew people like Bratz dolls so...My true artistic talents (although I have my doubts in this area too) come in the form of singing and acting. I am a very dramatic person and just found out today that I got an Excellence in one of my drama exams. Do you know how rare they are in my school? As for singing, I am well known for it around the boards. Just ask, I'll link you to my videos. I also like to re-make scenes for TV shows and movies with my sister. We are fun like that.

I said I was crazy. It's true. And my sister and I are the closest crazy people in the world. I love her, and am proud to call her one of my best friends. We have inside jokes and spend so much time together it's shocking. I just spent an entire week simply hanging out with her on camp and never got tired of her once. I am the one giving her pep talks and comforting her because it hurts me to see her cry. We run around like mad, never stop laughing and literally spent five hours today singing in the back of a van full of people because we didn't care how bad we sounded and were having the time of our lives. P.S, my sister is the most talented actress in the world! It's true.

As for Buffy related chatter, I discovered the show when my History teacher decided in 2010 to play the episode OMWF for us as an end of term treat. Well, actually we voted and no one wanted to watch Ice Age for some reason. To this day I consider it fates way of introducing me to the show because...I thought people loved Ice Age. I watched the episode and was intrigued. It didn't matter that I didn't know who these people were. They were singing and it was emotional and then there was Spike! It was truly him and his interesting relationship with Buffy that drew me to the show. I immediately went and researched the show online and on the 15th of September, 2010 I began watching season one, episode one. I have never looked back. I ship Spuffy, strongly relate to the characters of Buffy, Dawn and Fred and will forever remain in love with Spike. Oh, and I have a deep love for Anya.

I am a truly insecure person. Always afraid that someone will walk away from me or that I am not good enough. I am my toughest critic and have never considered myself a good singer or actress and I struggle to recieve compliments. If you meet me in real life you will see how awkward I get because I don't know how to take it. This is something about myself that I would love to fix and I am working on it as a person. However, it is one of my lifes biggest struggles.

I have a Spike action figure, my best friends are my sister, [MENTION=10363]zobothehobo[/MENTION], a girl named Natalie and a girl named Allyse. I will talk your ear off if you let me. I am friendly. I haven't finished watching Angel yet. I write fanfiction but I'm not that great. I forgot to mention that I am a writer. I roleplay too much. I do talk to myself. I am a Taylor Swift fan. I like black. I can't see colour. I ship Dramione, not Romione. And I have yet to have my first kiss.
