Hey everyone, i just did an IQ test and i got 126, scoring well on verbal and maths, is this good considering im quite young and only in college
 
I have no idea if it's good, I know nothing about IQ,.. But I'd love to do an IQ test some day, could be interesting although I don't really believe in that stuff.. (Anyone have a link so a test like that online..?)
 
I cant remember what site it was but i just did a search on google and this free iq test came up and then when i clicked on it a load of websites came up and i chose one called tickle or sumthin like that lol
 
Ok, I took that test, hehe. But I'm not sure I understood all of the questions right (cause of the fact that I don't speak that good English). I don't know much about IQ but isn't your iq (according to that test) quite ok..? But I don't really think those tests tell you anything, well maybe something but it doesnt mean a lot...

Ok I got 162 but I don't know if that's good either or where it "starts", I mean is it from 1 to ? .. I don't get it..
 
I think an average IQ is 108-112 or something like that...126 is definitely good...last time I took an IQ test was when they tested us for that advanced stuff in school...I think I was 128, but your IQ actually means how much you have the capacity to learn, not how much you actually know or how smart you are...alot of people get that wrong...a high IQ means you have the capacity to learn alot, which is good.

Eponinethen: 162 is amazing...less than one percent of the population of the world is between 150-170...those are like your extremely intelligent people...

When I took it I was told my 128 is great...I thought 138 was considered genius...but then I would only be ten away from that...so I'm thinking it should be higher
 
I think you are right about what they mean, the different numbers.. I think the problem is that it doesn't really work. I mean it's all about answering some quite lame questions, but you have to answer them fast. This only tells you how fast you can do a test really...
 
Very good point, i don't think there will ever be one test that will tell you how clever you are how great you capacity to learn is
