Ever since Wolves at the Gate Pt. 2, the damn comic hasn't been coming in at Hastings in two different cities (one is 30 min. away, one is 60 min. away from where I live) until like 2 more weeks down the month! Is anyone else having this problem? Cause it's really pissing me off.

im not trying to make you jealous (ok, i am). but i have 3 comic stores all within 20 miles of me.

so in answer to your question, no, i dont have that problem.

but to help you out, my stores rock. so, if you want me to give you their address, they will send you the comics. just pm me.

Holy crap I think I live near the Hastings that 60 min from you...does the city you're speaking of start with F?

Yeah. It makes me mad, too. They usually always have the arcs, but never the standalones. And when they do have the arcs they're like a month late.

Humph.

No sorry man... It's Garden City and Liberal...
I've had a subscription for both "Angel" and "Buffy" from TFAW ever since the two series began, so I get them with no problem, just the frustration of getting each issue about a month after it hits the shelves. I found out recently, however, that, by changing my shipping instructions, I can receive my issues with only a week's delay. You can also pre-order individual issues through Amazon.com, but you have to remember to do it each month. On the up side, you can also order back issues, and even often get your choice of covers, often at a used comic price.

(There's also a site group "Sci-Fi Genre Comic Books" that offers subscriptions from their web site, but I haven't really had any dealings with them.)

A comic store where i live is all sold out of buffy s8, saying i could order them but it will be 3 weeks.

I was like ''Well if you keep selling out, THEN ORDER MORE IN YOU ******* ***** ''.

Comis shops here don't have Buffy comics at all. Well, at least not the new ones. I think they've started to publish the acrs in German, but like that it would take ages to read the story.

There's a comic store 5 minutes from my house. But I've never gone in there. I order mine online. I've seen the Buffy Comics at Borders though.

A comicshop? I guess we have a few but the closest one I know of is in Gothenburg which is almost 2000 km from here so I get my copy by mail. Can´t say it´s a problem if you ignore the fact that I have to wait a couple of weeks to get it. Still waiting for nr 14.

And discussing the comic it could be intersting to know what you have to pay for it. Here it costs $5.8/ £2.99, but since I pay for shipping the total for me gets to $8.95/ £4.61.

For me it's $2.99. I don't know how much that is in Pounds, but it looks like it's less than yours. 😉

I just got volume 2(no future 1-4/anywhere but here) for 22 euros. im just gonna get the volumes rather than individual issues

So. Buffy s8 is going to be 40 issues long. Over 3 years. thats just annoying. 1 season, 3 years. come on.
Ecspecialy if they are going to make a season 9. what will it be? almost 7 years for 2 seasons of comic buffy. Far far far far tooooooo long.
They should work it out so each season is released in a year(you know they could if they wanted to).

I agree their overdoing this streching the season out thing a little. But, on the other hand, it means we'll still be able to enjoy new Buffy material for many, many years. And honsetly I think that's also good for this forum, the more Buffy, the more forum activity, not like eg Charmed, where every Board died out after the show ended.

And btw, I'm still hoping a season8 book will be published some day.
